Sorry mtbr, my relatives look like the one on the left. They are all athletes, ski buffs, swimming, hourse back riding, cross country.

There are two things that are noticable when returning to North America from overseas.
1. A lower population density--evident even in the terminal.
2. Fat people----a rarety elsewhere. Yeah the aussies have some porkers but....
In most of the world the fatties are on the top of the food chain. Eg---Kim Il Sung is likely the only fat guy in North Korea.
