Also, at my last Ophthalmologists appointment, my eyesight was 20/10 without my glasses, and 20/8 with.

After I fully retired from the last career I traded my Coke-bottle-bottom glasses for Lasik and came out with 20/20 and 20/15.

My prescription is very mild, less than .75 near sighted. I have to take them off to read the cell phone though. Aging sucks.
Not strong enough for Lasik, and I have pretty good night vision so I wouldn't want to mess that up with Lasik. (one of the side effects, I understand)

Oh, yeah. My night vision is completely gone. Between Lasik and laser surgeries for detached retina it's so bad that I won't drive at night anymore.
