What kind of theme do you want to portray? Do you want to make a statement and cause an emotional response, or do you just want to show the raw facts?
For what its worth, I will be using William Blum's book
"Killing Hope" and the cases it documents for my project.
(I am aware that it doesn't cover everything, but simply
a large part of the better documented ones)

The project will go on till around January '08, after which
I might continue it for the next semester.
stuff by Daniele Ganser is good, and so is other stuff by Blum. Try to find stuff out about Operation Gladio.

I want to show the facts, but done more in the form of an mind map, rather than use pure statistics (as that would put people to sleep and would not really do much to help my goal, which is actually get people interested in what is in front of them.)

No idea if this'll work, but you're asking for suggestions, so here goes ...

I have a vision showing an historical time line of notable interventions, perhaps showing a (globe style) cutout image of the country and the key location of each intervention, with a side image showing the harm that was done using a key photo image if possible of an assassination, coup attempt, effects of war, or whatever was the result.

Good luck with whatever you decide to try out.

That was one idea, though I didn't want to use photos... partly as I do not have access to uncopyrighted, hi quality images.

I've made a post with some images of the final prototype produced in the project - its under Online Tools for Activism. As I mentioned there, the website will be up in a week or so?

Given the long tradition of the US intervening in the internal political affairs of any country that they have an interest in and the record of Harper constantly puting the interests of the US ahead of that of Canadians, it would be extremely naive to believe that Harper is not on the CIA's payroll, or that Ignatieff was not this backup.
Brent
