The Daytona 500 is six weeks from this Sunday. Jayski.com does a great job of keeping up with who is going where from year to year. Today I’ll bring you part one of who’s driving for whom in 2011.

• David Reutimann will be back in the Aaron’s Dream Machine No. 00 Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing. Aaron’s will be on the car for at least 18 races.
• James Finch has said he is not selling his team (09) and would like to run full time in 2011. Bill Elliott is rumored to be driving the Chevy in the Daytona 500. No word on sponsors at this time.

• Jamie McMurray will be back in the No. 01 Chevy for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with sponsorship from Bass Pro Shops and McDonald’s.

• Brad Keselowski will remain with Roger Penske but will be moving from the No. 12 Verizon Dodge to the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge.

• Kasey Kahne will drive for Dietrich Mateschitz and the Red Bull team in 2011, before taking over the No. 5 from Mark Martin at Rick Hendrick Racing in 2012. Kahne will be driving the No. 4 (it was No. 82) Toyota.

• Martin will drive the No. 5 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports. GoDaddy.com will be the sponsor for 20 races. Crew Chief Lance McGrew will be on top of the No. 5 pit box, after calling the shots for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2010.

• David Ragan, who’s been in the No. 6 for the previous three seasons, will be back in the Roush Fenway Racing UPS Ford in 2011.

• Robby Gordon’s No. 7 Speed Energy Drink may change to Chevy for this coming season. He has said he’ll run the season’s first five races and then only the “fun” races after that. He finished last season 32nd in owner’s points. Gordon is one of the few owner/drivers left. There is a possibility he may put someone else in the car if he stays in the top 35 in owner points.

• Marcos Ambrose will drive one of the two cars out of the Richard Petty Motorsports shops. He’ll be in the Stanley Black & Decker No. 9 Ford.

• I haven’t heard if owner Billy Stavola will be back in 2011 with Terry Labonte in the No. 10 Chevy.

• Denny Hamlin will be looking to improve his final points position by one spot in his FedEx No. 11 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.

• Casey Mears will take over for Max Papis in the No. 13 Toyota for Germain Racing. GEICO has agreed to pay the bills for 18 races and the team is looking for sponsors for the rest of the season. Papis is set to run the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule this coming season.

• Former series champion (2002 and ’05) Tony Stewart will drive the No. 14 Chevy with sponsorship from Mobil 1 for 11 events. Old Spice did not renew, but Office Depot and Burger King may be on board for some events. This team is owned by Stewart and Gene Hass.

• Greg Biffle, who started driving the No. 16 full time in 2003 for Jack Roush, will be back in the Roush Fenway Racing car in 2011. 3M, one of the few full-time sponsors left, will be on the side of the car for all the races.

• Matt Kenseth, who has been driving the No. 17 full-time since 2000, will be back in the Roush Fenway Racing Ford with Crown Royal on board again.

• Kyle Busch, with Vermonter Dave Rogers as his crew chief, will be back in 2011 in the M&M’s No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Long-time Gibb’s supporter, Interstate Batteries, will be on the car for six events.

• Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 were one of the two cars dropped when Richard Petty Motorsports went to two cars for 2011. Sadler will race full time in the Nationwide Series for Kevin Harvick.

• Joey Logano will begin his third season at Daytona in the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota out of the Joe Gibbs Racing shops. Greg Zipadelli will be atop the No. 20 pit box for his 13th season.

• It appears the No. 21 Ford of the Wood Brothers will get the owner’s points from the No. 19 from last season. Elliott Sadler finished 28th in owner’s points last season, which would guarantee the 21 a spot in the show for the first five races of 2011. The team would like to run full time if a sponsor can be signed. Trevor Bayne and Bill Elliott could both see some time behind the wheel.

• After four years in the Blue Deuce, Kurt Busch, the first-ever Chase champion (2004), will drive the No. 22 Dodge which will be sponsored by Shell-Pennzoil for Penske Racing. He’ll start the season with owner points from the No. 12 (26th).

• Four-time Cup champion (1995, ’97, ’98 and 2001) Jeff Gordon will once again climb through the window of the Hendrick Motorsports No. 24 Chevy. Is time flying by? This will be his 19th season in a Cup car. He’ll carry stickers from DuPont (14 races), Pepsi (two races) and Drive to End Hunger (22 events). Wal-Mart was rumored as a sponsor but that deal never came through. Alan Gustafson, who was with Martin last season, will take over calling the shots from Steve Letarte.
