Yeah why do what Trump is doing when he could just use Sanders Marxist approach and just take the company outright and make them state-owned, than he wouldn't have to worry about movement.

If it were up to Bernie there would be an abolition of private property ownership (except for his own of course, including his recent $600,000 SUMMER home, must be nice to be so productive) and state run healthcare. He has the least room to stand on of anyone. A relic of a history and ideals that has been glorified by fools who didn't experience the persecution of these systems.

"A $600,000 home?" Is that supposed to be outrageous?

Also the home was purchased because they sold Mrs Sanders' family property in Maine, which she had inherited years ago

This is righties for you. When they're not lying outright, they're cherry picking details and taking them completely out of context to make everyday innocent activity seem evil.

They think their lies and deceitfulness are justified because they're convinced they're fighting a glorious jihad against the evil liberals so the ends justify the means.

His $600,000 home was his third home. Anyone you know that owns three homes? Especially if his only contribution was public service as a politician.

There is no battle against evil of any kind, except those who persecute citizens and their right to self determination. Socialism is being rejected around the world. The only ones left supporting them will be those with their heads stuck firmly in the trough of "put the tab on others grandkids".

Canada is one of the worst positioned in the world to deal with the shift in global attitudes. Considering how long we have been beside the United States and could have embraced accountability over state abuses and intervention, I suppose we get what we deserve.

Lord knows I haven't profited from these abuses, have you? I'm one of it's victims.

One final note, Liberalism in Canada hasn't lost in way as it has in the rest of the world. I look at Trudeau as relatively central. What is a problem, is that in very important concepts hat define democratic states, we refuse to correct what is wrong. Bob Paulson, his merry men and other police agencies in Ontario can do as they please, abuse their powers and over reach while there is no accountability. I've seen it first hand.

Said it 1000 times, elect a Rand Paul in Canada and we would lead the West as never before. As it stands, we have institutions which won't allow such libertarian concepts to thrive, just having such views and defending hem can put you on a watch list.

Like I just told you, they purchased it with inheritance proceeds .

And since you ask it's actually common for members of state, provincial or federal legislatures to have a second part-time residence in the capital, sice they spend so much time there and that is the case here. It's not at all unusual under the circumstances and considering that he and his wife both have had long careers and earned 6-figure salaries.

And considering that so many Republicans are millionaires and billionaires that each hold numerous million dollar estates, what is your complaint anyway?

How many of these billionaires are so because of a career in government?

I don't begrudge wealth, I say go forward and earn more, I welcome those who want to beat competition and succeed. What I do begrudge are those who milk the system and want to deny others the FREEDOM to pursue there own wealth.

I've personally applied to jobs in America and received dozens of calls, this are jobs paying far better than minimum wage, there are millions of jobs unfilled in America and 95 million who have stopped looking for work, it defies logic. If you work hard in America you can make it, government isn't the answer. Canada will find that out over the next number of years. America luckily dodged the bullet that would have lead them to a system closer to Canadas.

The president of the United States earns a salary of $400,000, I know a lady I went to university with, she was in some of my group work and certainly wasn't the leader. She works for Toronto council and makes over $300,000 a year! That in itself is comical, a backhand to anyone with any economic sanity. In a province that has spit on basic economic principles for a long time.

You're mentally ill, even more than the average Targeted Individual is, if you really think that these millionaires and billionaires didn't make a huge portion of their fortunes from bilking the government.

I am not running from anyone. Unlike those who target me and their families, I'm not a coward, I will stand up to those who abuse and openly even the score via communication. I don't smile in their face and stab them in the back, I tell them what I will do and I do it.

You're a terrible liar.

I don't need to lie, in fact, the truth has been my strongest asset in all of this. If you believe I'm a liar, no problem I won't be offended if you don't post any responses in my threads in the future.

Yeah, try seventeen. And his only contribution was piling lumber at a sawmill.
Three? Just my Mom & Dad. You come from a line of peasants or something? Know those too. Worked at same sawmill have 3 quads, a side-by-side 2 pickups, 3 snowmobiles, huge travel trailer and don't even own the land their mobile sits on.
They think only barefoot hare-shirts can talk about the environment and think politicians earning minimum wage will look out for them.

Yes I come from a line of peasants. Does that make me any less important and worthy of basic human rights and opportunity?
