I was lost as i was and it just buggered me up worse then i was before..
evil i tell ya.. evil
Traffic circles are easier to deal with when you get used to them. They actually help keep traffic flowing smooth.

Actually, I have often thought Red Deer would be a good spot, because it is big enough to have everything you need, and it is a reasonable distance from Calgary, Edmonton and the Mountains.
or they are evil things to confuse the crap out of people who dont live there

Maybe we should put them at every entrance point to the city.

j/k
The Province is going to build one at the East entrance into Sylvan Lake on 11A, I hope they build an observation area where we can sit and take pictures.

Yes, but all roads will lead to the traffic circle.

Dead Rears actually not a bad idea.... like you said, big enuf to have all the amenities, close to both Calgary and Edmonton AND has some nice surrounding lakes (Gull, Sylvan, Pine)
PLUS you can always go midnite bowling in Lacombe

you're gonna have to tell me that story sometime..

I work in-and-out of Ft. Mac. To tell the truth there'e a lot of good and normal people up there. Strangely enough though, simultaneously it's also the kind of place where it's in a person's best interest to be kind of anti-social and keep to themselves. I'm old enough know to not get roped into the bad sort of behaviour but it's damn dangerous for the younger ones who're dumb enough to think that they're invincible. For everyone who keeps their head together and comes out of there with a pile of cash there's another one who's blown all their money and end up as another drug casualty. Same thing happens in Calgary or Edmonton, of course, or any other big city, but the intensity of the group-crazy seems to be a lot more intense in McMurray than elsewhere in the province.
Alberta still rules, it goes without saying, but it's certainly a lot stranger here than it was a few years ago.
