Well, I certainly don't state that it's over the line. I just believe that it should be made clear why - especially when there's some shades of grey.

   

I'd gut the place of all the shit disturbers if I was trying to run a forum - Break a rule and your account is closed. Complain about how the site is run and your account is closed. No questions or debate, no room for judgment. You'd be free to join again if you like, but by that point you should have learned that you're entitled to nothing more than being a guest on this site at the discretion of the people who run it. A forum like this needs as many people participating as possible, not a dozen regulars that set up camp and think they own the place.

   

   

   

If I could refrain from insults, flaming, and inappropriate behavior, then I suppose I won't get banned.

I have to admit, it is hard at times to tow the line.

   

Although I agree with the statement, it comes from the wrong messenger

   

   

The fairness and independance of the management of CKA is a major reason why you get the numbers that you've got. It's why this site is better than rabble or the Rev's site. Either its fair & balances or it's not.

I only scanned a couple pages and diddn't want to view the rest as I can already see where it's headed. Anyways I have been on many forums in my life. You can see I am a forums junky. They make for good communication and information giving.

Un-moderated forums are the worst type of forums you can ever have. You give people the free will to be assholes and that is exactly what they will be. If moderation abuse does actually exist here which I have seen my fair share and some as of recently (on another forum) than just be lucky because moderation abuse is far better than a un-moderated forums. I say that because it sounds like some people are calling for blood of threatening to leave. No forum is perfect however this doesn't smell of moderator abuse.

You got the facts from multiple moderators and trever himself. The fact he was banned because of multiple infractions of the past doesn't matter. If he had all the infractions that when looked at by admins made them think he deserved to go than he deserved to go.

Basicly, will you guys stop being such drama queens. Hes like the first member ban in how long and it diddn't take long before everybody was screaming moderator abuse and calling for blood.

   

Anarchy simply means "without rulers." Somalia is anarchy. People who disagree with the decisions of mods on an internet forum is not.
