Well, I spent the August long weekend doing my favorite summer activity, if you didn't know, it's fly fishing the many lakes and rivers that are here in the Cariboo. We spent two days fishing the Cottonwood River, Willow River and a few other spots. My buddy caught his very first Rocky Mountain Whitefish and I caught my largest of that species to date. Weather was perfect, rivers were beautiful and full of fish. I couldn't tell you just how many we caught and released over the weekend, but it must have been over 40 fish. in tha third picture, if you had of squatted a little more you could have gone jigging with a nightcrawler . nice pictures, do you make your own lures?

Now..... debate going on here over freshwater salmon (I'm thinking you'd know) Are freshwater salmon covered under a freshwater license, or do you need the salmon tags for them like you do on a tidal license?
