Election Fraud.

When (super crook) Vanderzalm was kicked out of office (1991) BC voters proclaimed they "would never vote NDP again"
Oh how quickly they forget! (NDP comes a close second)

I personally do not believe democracy is legitimate, when the British monarchy abdicated the throne (1936) it was a veil... placing guilt on the populous for their own mistakes (as well as the result of an illegal marriage).
The monarchy wanted a government more accessible to the people but never gave up complete control (the queen can sack the government anytime). So democracy in England has been a fraud since its creation and this was the model that Canada and the USA followed. It is a veil that disguises the responsibility of the puppet masters … the puppets take the blame.

Now the thing about a king is that a king cannot be ‘bought’ or coerced because the king already owns everything in the country.
A politician is elected and as soon as he/she takes office the corrupting forces of organized crime and foreign interests begin to make offers and/or threats.
The politician knows he/she is only in office for 4-8 years and so is likely to accept such bribes or succumb to threats.

Democracy is a system which operates on the premise that everybody has a price, the burden of guilt is placed on voters for making wrong choices when in fact there never was a choice to begin with.

The monarchy saw to this when the electoral system was set up as an illusion.

Well at last check there was a two vote difference. This is really an excellent example of every vote counts. I'm still hoping Wally Opal get's turfed.

   

point is that participating in a fraud only perpetuates the fraud.
if you want to be known as someone who knows the truth you should boycott elections
(the fraud) and say why publically.

The fringe elements(social conservatives) of the So Creds split off to form the Reform Party of BC, while the rest renamed themselves the Liberal Party of BC, thinking the voters would be confuzzled(and it seems to have worked). Once upon a time I was a Van der Zombie....and i still think he was screwed over.

   

Actually the BC Liberal party is not affiliated with the federal Libs either. When Iggy and the Libs had his convention here a couple of weeks ago the premier chose not to attend the event.

The PG3 (Bond, Bell, Rustad) were all returned. Let's hope they can maintain what they've done for this area in the last year and not sit back for the next three. We could have 4 laned BOTH Hwy97 to Vancouver and Hwy16 to Rupert for less than the road to Whistler.
How? Because there's a lot of common sense people here who can't figure out why they always blast a 200m passing lane out of the side of a cliff and not make a 60km lane by just pushing dirt on either side of it. We CAN slow down for a mile or two!

   

Not really. BC's Political history has long been dominated by a Liberal/Conservative coalition of sorts. Began with the Social Credit Party and now lives in the BC Liberal Party. Both the Social Credit and current Liberals are BC's Pro-Business parties, Center-Right. The NDP being the Left, as it is everywhere.

You can add to that the coalition during the WWII.

Yeah so 'left' Carol James could walk into a Tommy Douglas Memorial Beer Night and Dave Barrett or Ed Broadbent would ask "Who the fuck let you in?"

   

When they start doing something about the lack of healthcare in the region then I'll be impressed.

Not so much. Tommy Douglas was part of the CCF, a party Socialist is all but name, while the national and provincial variants are mostly watered down remnants of the CCF>

   

Most of the founding members of the CCF were adherents of the social gospel, "I am my brother's keeper". They were motivated largely by their religious beliefs in seeing social justice applied to Canadian society. Most of the founders of the CCF would be looked down upon by those who infest the NDP today.

   

Very true, the CCF was full of "left wing Christians" or "social gospelers". Would Tommy D have been pro-gay marriage. I do not thing so. Today's NDP maybe the left, but they are different than the CCF.
