I notice when passing over Yank-in-NY's avatar that he has a badge that says, "Cool Yankie." The problem with that, is that 'yankie' is actually spelled 'yankee.'

LOL!

W.
Uh....we know that... LOL

Is that because you are the 'yanker,' or do you just know?

We just know? That was pointed out a long time ago, and was never changed. Never really bothered anyone.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
"Kanada"? Rich.

Seemed appropriate in your case after reading some of your posts, and then there is this beauty;

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Yesterday I was charges for a late school book. WHEN I RETURNED IT. They stared right at my face and asked me for the charged amount as a "late fee". Why? Has my possesion of the book taken any money from you, Capitalist Libarian?

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Yank, things can have flaws and can "suck", I didn't say that the Canadian Education System is the worst, but it does fucking suck. Alot.

Everything has flaws, even your logic and analysis of not returning a book on time and you get chraged for it. It went over your head that you possibly deprived another student from that book, and perhaps even worse, your irresponsibility towards your school community to return that book on time. What was the reason for not returning it on time? Overzealous study?

Of course the system can use some improvements, of course the system has flaws, but that doesn't mean it sucks. You need a frame of reference to make a comment that your system sucks, and you haven't done that yet.

In my school you can reserve out a book while it's still out so that the book will be returned quicker. I would have been notified that another student had tried to sign out my book. No one did. Why? Because I'm the only kid in the district who reads informational books about Canada.

Expecially since this is a High School and not even teachers honestly want to read an Educational Book I found next to a bunch of Atlas's called "The Betrayal of Canada".

I was depriving no sane being on the planet a book that has been on the shelfs at the school since 1992 and was signed out by only 2 people previously.

Now, the Kanada thing, Mine was a spelling error, yours was not. Your's was soem kind of twisted tongue-in-cheek crap.

The system sucks. Period.

Mr-Canada. As your as just in high school you do not have the responsibility of paying school taxes. You should be happy that your school wants to keep track of these textbooks. Perhaps there is a new release of the book you signed out or, perhaps there is a different title available that is more recommended.

I also suggest that you remember that there are two sides to every story and you might want to check out a book that poses an alternate viewpoint.

Yes, the education system is flawed but nothing in this world is perfect. Many teachers are burnt out because they have to deal with people that would rather denounce flaws than appreciate achievements.

No Canadian in their right minds should feel insulted by that...

I mean, who the hell here would feel insulted by a 4 year old calling you "Caca" (Poo face in french)?

That was more of an insult to the American people. If Canadians were to do something like this to prove a point, I would probably drive over to their place and bash their heads in...

Wow...

Are you aware that Michigan elected an ex-Canadian as governor. SHE is a rabid anti-truck politically correct type who did her damndest to block Michigan's Shall carry law and is preventing Michigan from dealing with Detroit's defiance of the legistlation.

She has been a major factor in keeping trucks firmly at 55 while the 4-wheeler whiz by at 70. The different sppeds are a menace. Instead of 55 and 60 or all 55----she opts for 55 and 70. She is very anti-truck in her highway infrastructure policy as well. It is put about that she is courting votes by amintaining the 70 for cars.........

No wonder american's get these sterio-type notions of Canadians.

Along with jane Stewart's billion and Allan Rock's billion of gun-control and how many million his slander/Libel suit cosr re Mulrooney.....the Spansorship Scandal is just the icing on the cake.

Our school system is showing the kids "An Inconvenient Truth" as science....bans tag and red rover.....

Meanwhile Cretin commits our army to Afghanistan and they have to disarm the militia/reserves to arm the regulars for NATO deployment and then sends them off with ILTIS......because the LIBRANOs had higher priorities than by enough rifles or real military vehicles..
