The reason people beat up on the U.S. is that they believe America has too much influence in their lives, yet they have no other input into American decisions. So I recommend that we listen, carefully and patiently. We are all in this together.

I saw a poll yesterday (reported on CNN but I don't know who conducted the poll) that 89% of Americans considered Canadians Amercia's "best friend." Canada tied for first with Britain.
