Does Canada Support Terrorism?

But I don't want it to be MY money that pays for that! Let the pinkies pay for it!
Charity should not be forced at gunpoint.
I contribute generously to many charities, but they all have one thing in common: they help people who help themselves. Government handouts encourage laziness and waste, and therefore I oppose them in any form.

And what about old people? What good do they do anyway? When they're too old to work, they should just politely go away, then we wouldn't have to carry their asses for 20 years or so.

That was France that let 15,000 of the elderly citizens die do to a Summer heat wave. NOt the USA, that has aleast one heatwave every Summer. Good ole France and their "free healthcare"! formercanuk is right and its a known fact that the Canadian goverment wants to tax the middle class out of exitence. To pay for stupid programs that dont work. I agree that the sick and elderly must be taken care of. But what about the 22 year old who just wants to stay home and smoke pot. thats what he is saying.

Healthcare in France is not free.
They have a Social healthcare system. Your right its not free they pay for it in taxes.

There are also user fees each time you visit your doctor.
The French system is very similar to the Canadian system. For even now in Canada they have user fees. We call it co-pay here. Its a small fee paid so the hospital does not get full of people with colds and bumps and bruises.
Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.

I've never paid to see the doctor, NYC. You must, once again, WRONG!
My family in Ontario does rev so you are wrong.

And if they're sick? Well I figure either they're faking it to get unemployment insurance, or it's just that God is punishing them, so who are we to ease the suffering?
And if they're disabled? We don't need those damn handicaps polluting our gene pool anyway, just let em die off

Royal Highlander,
I thought that my statements were so blatantly disgusting that it would be obvious that I was being 100% sarcastic.
I'll be clearer in the future.
My point was to show how ridiculous it is to say "I hate paying taxes".

Actually NY I believe user fee's in Canada are against the law, I think you might be thinking of the monthly premium that we pay in BC, Alberta, and now Ontario. Outside of those three provinces there are absolutley no extra fee's for medical service, other than paying taxes.
Yes RUEZ my sister-in-law pays 100 month for her and her family sorry for not being clear.
User fees is what should be done, it might put a stop to the BS
Go to a hospital and see the mess that goes on, people bringing in kids with a runny noise and taking up a doctor’s valuable time. Most of the people that do this come from countries where a runny noise might mean your dead in 2 days, this doesn’t happen in CANADA.
Oh unless you’re waiting in line behind all these people with a real problem then your shit out of luck.
