What a condescending article. The first paragragh made me give this guy all the respect he deserves.......Does anyone have a printer that will print on toilet paper? I want to print of 1000 copies of this article and use it for the only thing it's good for......
Well that’s an interesting article I must say and I am sure some things that were pointed out in that article were true. But Canada doesn't just crawl with terrorist Godz. You can't believe everything you read or hear from the news Godz, remember that and we aren’t really taking a beating from this. Over all Godz, it is still interesting.
Regards
Stellar
Does anyone really care what the Excited States thinks about Canada. They are just pissed off because we haven't rolled over when Bushy boy calls.
Fatty Camel is that article for real..
we may not have liked the way the article was written, but dont fool your self, there is a load of truth to what he reprted,, and its not just all recent shit eiher,, this is a problem that goes back a number of years,,,and we MUST do somthing about it,,, Remember when the Black P{anthers were meeting with the FLQ here in Canada?? And the RCMP agent MacCleary burned down the barn 'cause they didnt have a way to wiretap or watch the meetings???This is not anythinh new, but in a post 9/11 world it does set off alrm bells

Above The Law documents the way the Mounties became a thorn in the side of many of Canada's unscrupulous politicos. The book also explains what the politicians did to harness the horsemen and to co-opt the RCMP into being nothing more than another arm of the ruling federal party.
In the spring of 1972, the Security Service branch of the RCMP burned down a barn located on a farm in Quebec's Eastern Townships. The farm was owned by two FLQ members involved in the October Crisis and the RCMP spooks believed the barn was being used as a meeting place of the FLQ and the Black Panthers. The Security Service's reason for the arson was that since they couldn't bug the place, they'd burn it down. Other SS activities were later brought to light by the press, and it began to look like the Security Service was out of control. The McDonald Commission was struck to look into RCMP activities.
Crazy stuff, RH! So, the RCMP were the radicals then? Sounds like it. It's a good thing no one died in that fire!
That wasnt the point. the p[oint was that we have had probs with terrorists in Canada for quite number of years as seen by the dat of that event,,, The RCMP werent the radicals... they were trying to do thier job as best they could
Weren't both the RCMP and the Trudeau government pretty heavily criticized in the MacDonald Report though, RH? Without looking it up, I seem to remember that the conclusion was that they have no right to turn Canada into a police state, and that the RCMP needs to kept at least at arms length from the political arm of the government.
The RCMP burned down a barn because they didn't have the evidence to get a wire tap. They didn't arrest anybody after they burned down the barn either...at least not for anything that happened or was discussed in the barn.
So they burned down his mother's barn. What did that achieve? Nothing. What it was show the RCMP to be committing extra-legal acts, apparently with impunity.
Rev, that Algerian convicted of being a terrorist was let back into Canada. How ever much you think Godz is full of it we let terrorists into our country daily.
I remember feeling very angry that Martin went to that Tamil Tiger fund raiser in 2000.
The yanks have a right to be pissed of at us, our security sucks. Any bogus refugee can get in and then has the wonderful Charter to protect them and a legion of lawyers feeding at the troft to get them in.
That apparently is what Canadians want becuase nothing ever changes.
