I think he mistakenly believes that the British monarchy rules Canada. He seems to have the mentality of a ten year old and the education of a first grader, surprisingly advanced for an American. They'll likely make him a Senator.

the reason we " havent fucking paid the bill is this"...the un owes us a shitload for peacekeeping duties....so convienient to forget to metion this......if it were not for our money there would be no un...we pay the most....to get fucked by 3rd worlders who cant even run their own countries....

Laconfir @ Thu Feb 05, 2004 6:29 pm

What peacekeeping duties? The reason the UN hasn't paid you guys for your so called peacekeeping duties, is that you guys are the cause of most of these 3rd worlders that can't run their fucking countries. Oh yea, I don't think they pay countries for peacekeeping, they just supply them with equipment. If the UN paid for peacekeeping duties, it'd be Canada, PAkistan, India, and one other country that I don't remember the name of getting the most. Canada and the other country have taken part in 41 out of 43 of all the UN missions. India and Pakistan have not, however, they provide the largest number of soldiers.

polemarch1 @ Thu Feb 05, 2004 6:58 pm

Laconfir don't forget though, if some country decides to start acting crazy, for the sake of argument the Republic of CrazyGuys decides to invade the neighboring country of OhGodHelpUs!! and the UN past resoultions demanding that the CrazyGuys leave their neighbor alone the only way that resolution will have any meaning is if it is backed up by American firepower.

Laconfir @ Thu Feb 05, 2004 7:04 pm

Yes polemarch, you may be right. Thats because there are few countries who are willing to stand up to the US. Other then us and those good old Russians. I think Canadians have more in common with Russians then Americans. We are both nations of hockey (Do they have their own league), both love alcohol (Russian vodka, mmmmm!) and of course, we freeze our assess off! lol. Anyway, the two things we can all agree on here about the UN, is Kofi is a big fucking pussy, and the UN never really steps in. They don't do much to stop the fighting, other then killing the aggressors. The UN is very good at keeping militant groups at bay however, when you are rebuilding a country. Also, which is it thats leading the Ahfganistan peacekeeping force? I'm not sure if its UN. And I don't think its NATO is it?

polemarch1 @ Thu Feb 05, 2004 7:46 pm

Afghanistan is a UN sanctioned mission but it is led and run by NATO.

$1:
A subordinate formation of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), KMNB is a robust tactical military organization designed to assist the Afghan Transitional Authority in its efforts to create a safer, more secure environment in Kabul. ISAF is a UN-sanctioned, NATO-led mission comprising nearly 5,500 soldiers from 33 countries

Hey feeko! Guess you didnt even read the link, didja?

Well, many of your words are correct but they are jumbled. Someone is definitely getting fucked by someone, the 3rd worlders are one of the parties in the fuckathon, and someone is definitely trying to run someone elses countries for them...

get it?

lol - I like this one even better:

http://www.globalpolicy.org/finance/tab ... egraph.htm

"This graph measures the average annual delay of each country in completing its obligations to the UN Regular Budget. Some countries not represented in this graph, including the United States, Brazil and Argentina, have not paid their dues at all. In fact, the United States has never paid their dues in full in the nine-year period measured by this graph. "

You mean like Israel building illegal settlements on Palestinian lands? Yeah, American firepower is doing very well there, keeping the Israeli's armed with the most modern of weaponry to keep the stone-throwing Palestinians at bay while they continue work in direct defiance of UN resolutions.

Ironic that the US pays it dues to the UN (at least in part, as we have now seen), the UN passes resolutions condemning Israel's actions, then the US gives Israel $24Billion USD annually to help them continue to defy the UN....

Ahh, how the wheel turns.

No, I was thinking more of Iraq invading Kuwait, or the Korean War (yes Canada played a signifigent role as well and I mean in no way to belittle our contribution by saying this).

Resolutions pertaining to Israel where passed by the General Assembly and are considered non-binding. Which is a good thing because the UN seems to have a hate on for Jews. As for the settlments being illegal, their only there because the Arabs lost a war they started against Israel and their illegality is debaitable. The Arabs tried to exterminate the Jews, and it was the Arabs who told the "Palestinians" to leave so they could be free to slaughter Jews. It was the Arabs who rejected the partioning of the British mandate, one in which the Arabs would have gotten there own state.

As for the "Palestinians" being armed with just stones, read a newspaper. The "Palestinians" are armed with rockets, grenades, bombs and rifles which they use to murder innocent civilians, men, women and children. The "Palestinians" are the ones using their own people as human shields and perpetrating lies to discredit Israel and they have refused every peace offer sent their way.

This is Jewish land, the Promised Land. The people of Israel have returned to their rightful homeland. A good thing to with the rising tide of anti-semitism around the world.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Israel's war is our war. They are fighting the same enemy as the rest of the civilized world. Militant Islam.

Rev_Blair @ Fri Feb 06, 2004 9:25 pm

The promised land? Who the hell made that promise? Read Paris 1919, Pole. Maybe you'll learn something.
