I agree with everything the people she's complaining about have to say (If she's not in fact exaggerating). The US *needs* to be bashed once in a while; the democracy that once worked here was built on questioning authority. Anyone who says not to question the US, its leadership, or its role is a fascist.
In my opinion, the US needs to be knocked down a few pegs, on many levels- not just ego.

You know godz, I think U of Sask was trying to be sarcastic. Seriously though, I'm somewhat amazed you're living in Montreal. I know it's a great city and all, but it's also one of the most liberal places in Canada. You must be on the verge of having an anyeurism. If you want to live in a city where conservatives reign and minorities are derided, then you should come to where I live which is Abbotsford,BC (which is just outside Vancouver).
