Why is Canada better than the US?!?
Israel is violating UN resolutions, would it be ok to invade them too?

Yeah, that would go over real fine

Of course, Canada is violating international law, the UN Charter and UN Resolutions in its recognition of the illegal and immoral Kosovar 'Independence' in Serbia. but in Harper's defence he's just kissing Bush's ass. At least he held out for a month before he kowtowed, unlike the EU.
Why do we have to keep compiling lists to tell us why we are 'better' than the US? Has anyone who creates these lists actually lived in the US or are their opinions formed only by what they see on TV?

Well, I for one spent 59 years in the US and I can think of any number of reasons that Canada is better than the US and Canadian beer is only one of them.

And I can think of many reasons that the US is better than Canada. There is no point
The United States is literally like Canada's older brother. Alot of Canadians are jealous that the USA has more power and wealth and influence, but we always forget that they have more responsibilities than us. If I wanted to argue like an eight year old I can show how the US does way more, good AND bad, then Canada. And how the US is in a much more complicated situation.
I will never say one is better than the other. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. Both countries are neighbors, are brothers, are friends, are allies. The United States allows us to do things we couldn't do without them. The United States couldn't have done things without us.
Honestly, I love both countries. I love Canada since it is home, but that doesn't mean I'll be entering this "My dick is bigger than yours" like most of you 10 year old preteens. For one thing, Canada's dick is bigger, look at Southern Ontario fucking the US Industrial States(this is a joke for are you pretentious assholes who think I'm serious)
Seriously you guys, I love this country, but you people, alot of you anyway, take this "debate" way too seriously.

Depends on where you want 300 Israeli nuclear bombs exploding.
Canada doesn't have the same attitude about preserving personal rights and freedoms. For example, we like to assume that the right to bare arms is not a right merely because its not specifically mentioned in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Sure, we use the words 'liberty' and 'freedom' but they are defined the same ways as the americans define them.
You have to give the american constitutions some credit....dozens of places where it says " The government shall not..."

A necessary condition is not necessarily a sufficient one.

Any country (or at least those citizens who support the tactic) that attacks the sovereignty and innocent citizens of another for the pure sake that they may pose a threat at some future point is a country of cowards. Iraq had nothing to do with 911 - absolutely nothing, nor did it posess wmd's. Bush and his compadres are war criminals, plain and simple. The "war on terror" is as phony and contrived as the war on drugs, it is pure unadulterated horseshit.
Iraq was violating United Nations' resolutions (and the Oil-for-Food program was becoming a farce).
That did not give the US the right to unilaterally go in there, and then destroy the country.
I've been there. They are rebuilding it better than it ever was. And the WMD's are now in Saudi Arabia. You can put enough chemical or biological agent in a suitcase that could take out 20 large cities. Finish the bastards off before they start doing it here. Oh i forgot they already have started. New York, London, Madrid, Kobar Towers, Israel on a daily basis, and hundreds more.
The CBC is obviously your main source for news.
Rubbish. Iraq lies in ruins.

You have to compare Iraq today (and tomorrow) with what would the country look like if Saddam (and his sons) were still in power.

And the answer to that would be a damn-sight less of a terrorist threat and encumbrance to the world at large had George Junior not felt this overwhelming need to make up for Dad's shortcomings.

For comparison, recall that the pan-Arab Ba'th Party is still untouched in Syria.

Someone else has the opinion that the US is like Canada's older brother.
Let's not forget most guys I know with older brothers think they're assholes, but they don't hate them.
Here's my list of Canada's better:
We can watch a soccer game and enjoy it, and don't pretend baseball isn't boring.
Beer.
Smokes.
Cheese. I'd be scared to give a Yank McLarens cold pak cheddar without checking their health insurance. Or Hawkins Cheezies.
Junk food: Aside from real Beer Nuts, it's blander and more expensive. And don't try to tell me Hersheys even uses real chocolate.
Cops. You know how to react anywhere in Canada to Archie&Pete (RCMP), but have no idea of what to expect dealing with Lemuel T. Billie-Bobs from one state to another.
The NDP. Elect three dozen and scare the two main parties into remembering the people decide, not Exxon.
But I will surrender the argument. The USA is the greatest country on Earth, Canada will settle for being the BEST.
OMG I forgot- WHISKEY. That sickly sweet bourbon is for girls. Wisers Rules!
