Here's my list of Canada's better:
We can watch a soccer game and enjoy it, and don't pretend baseball isn't boring.
Beer.
Smokes.
Cheese. I'd be scared to give a Yank McLarens cold pak cheddar without checking their health insurance. Or Hawkins Cheezies.
Junk food: Aside from real Beer Nuts, it's blander and more expensive. And don't try to tell me Hersheys even uses real chocolate.
Cops. You know how to react anywhere in Canada to Archie&Pete (RCMP), but have no idea of what to expect dealing with Lemuel T. Billie-Bobs from one state to another.
The NDP. Elect three dozen and scare the two main parties into remembering the people decide, not Exxon.
But I will surrender the argument. The USA is the greatest country on Earth, Canada will settle for being the BEST.

The U.S. are in the middle of the New World and their performances are averaging those of the New World. The two key historical variables to understand present socioeconomic conditions through out the Americas are the density of pre-Columbian populations and the number of African slaves imported.
