Me, I am still trying to figure out how she thought there were Canadian aircraft carriers at all.

Here's an interesting website for those interested in aircraft carriers.

My grandfather served on HMCS Bonaventure :D

Another UFI factoid to clutter your brain with:

The guns off the Bonny continued to serve until 1993 when Canada finally closed out CFB Lahr/Baden.

Kids coming out of school these days can't even count back change. It's really sad how uneducated our youth is.

You really want to have some fun ?

I dont do this to be mean, I just dont like walking around with pounds of loonies and twonies in my pocket

When your bill comes to 17.43 or something, wait until they see your twenty while your digging in your pocket for change.

Most of the time they punch in the 20 right away to figure how much to give you back. Then hand them 22.50.... Some times you get that 404 look. "change not found"

I totally agree with this Mr Canada. All my knowledge of Canadian history I hold comes from my own reading. It's shocking how our social study and history classes focus on global, the US, Britain etc...when we should be learning about our own land!

In fact, I think there is only ONE university (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) in Canada that offers a degree program in Canadian History. That's St. Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia. That's shocking.
Nova Scotia, eh?

I'll be trying to get into that university...

....

Fuck, this is why I think so many Canadian teens disrespect Canada and treat it like it's a fucking Gas Stop to a better life (in their mind, The United States or Britain)!

They know nothign abotu their own country.

THANKS FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE CANADIAN BRAIN DRAIN, EDUCATION SYSTEM!

School... Teaching you.... But not enough to save this countries future....

I don't know of too many Canadians that move to the UK for a 'better life'. In fact it is the opposite.

*cough*

I was just trying to lighten up the seeming look of Anti-Americanism when none was intended at the moment actually, ;)

I'm definitely not here for the better life. I can't wait to get back to Canada. I'm just waiting for my husband to make up his mind ha ha

That was great!

Wow.

That was good, but Geezuz Kriist! Make your borders straighter and maybe join a few, like 20 or 30, states together......

I didn't do as bad as I think I would. Get rid of a bunch of your states though, I think it would be nerve rackign to have to learn all the state names. There are still some i've never heard of.

Brits are pretty stupid when you get outside of London. Just saying.

SprCForr @ Sat Jan 13, 2007 10:32 am

86%

Avr Error: 0 miles

Time: 507

Largest distance error was 14 miles I didn't get West Virginia in exactly the right spot and Nebraska was out the same too. Did get 45 perfect though.

That was good fun, nice find.
