They wont like you making their icon smaller.
Cant you make it the same color as the background so it wont show up as a clickable link if you insist on running it and hiding it?

I still want to use extreme tracking, it gives a good day by day visitor count. In order for it to track, it needs to load a small image from there server, so I just made the image 0px by 0px
but i will also remove the link

I didn't really do anything to make it faster tonight, just restarted the worker process for the site, it gets overloaded, sometims it starts spitting out blank pages (might have seen that).

But this is the fastest I have ever seen it. I saw the blank pages.
Maybe changing the code to make the icon a period did something.

Seconds instead of minutes to load a page.Now someone with win 95 and a 33 1/3 modem on dial up just might be able to load a page before the sun set's in another continent.
Whatever you did it's pretty fast still,be nice to know if anyone else noticed a difference in how long it takes to load a page now.

To the mollasses syndrome,this site is painfully slow again.I dont know for sure what Trevor did last time we chatted but thing's were 100% faster after we did.
Getting a page to load is like watching paint dry. Maybe if there wasnt so many folks signing up the site would be able to respond to requests.(really,it's like someone made a bot to just keep signing on to Canadaka useing names from a brute force dictionary.)
Imagine the poor folks on dial-up,must take them days to get on.

its not a matter wheather your on broadband or dialup, make little difference, its the server being overloaded.
