Questions on some changes I've noticed...

He changed that feature and now you can't type it in anymore, it's either an NHL team or the blank.gif. Maybe we should gang up on him so he can add some WHL or more specifically, Vancouver Giants logos?!!
No doubt! I remember when looking at other's profiles (I find the demographics interesting on this site as far as members go) that there were a few others who named a non-NHL team as their favorite so I'm sure they would like the option back of typing in a name too.
Trevor responded to my pm so I have an address now to send $ to.

if you had a team entered before the new list was made it stayed. But needed to be changed when you edited your profile.
I guess I can make an open ended field... but then people might start typing in stuff like Leafs, Habs and so on again. The list was to stop repeats.
How many WHL teams are there?

I did have "WHL Giants" entered there before the update was done and it did appear in the "favorite team" field in my profile. When the update was done it dissapeared and now of course I cannot put it back in. I understand why the change was made but perhaps the text field could be for people to use when their team is not on the list (non-NHL only)?
Besides it's not that big of a deal Trev...it was just a question I asked along with the other 2 to see if there was something I was not doing right (as with the question Hyack helped me with) in the preferences that someone else might know.
This season there will be 22 WHL teams (Edmonton joining in for this upcoming season). Go to WHL website (www.whl.ca) to see the full list. It would be cool to have these logos available but then you'll get requests from those who are OHL, QMJHL and other league's fans. It could get out of hand!
