Site & Forums seem any faster this afternoon?

well I can't do the caching 100% what I wanted, but its working to a certain level now.
The cache has already made 1000 caches pages.
I also am doing something else to cache the blocks on the front-page. Between 2min and 1 hour, depending on the block and how often its updated.
All should help a bit, to make the site load faster.

I'm on the other side of the Pacific and I haven't had any of the previously mentioned problems. I have all the little pop ups and such as well , so it must not be a problem with the site.

BAM!
I got the full page cachine working that wasn't working in firefox properly.
So for people not logged into the site it loads cached copies of the pages. This makes the pages load much faster, don't need nearly as many database queries.
But for those logged in it won't use this as much, so you get up to date content, which is important for like the forums.
But will help the speed for everyone reducing the load on the server.

slow as the sites loading slow? or slow as in people posting slow?

For about ten-fifteen minutes, every page was taking several minutes to load, or not loading at all....

hmm thats odd.. and not good
that should only happen around 2am PST. Thats when the log files are processed.
Let me know if you see it happen again.

Maybe it was at my end... not sure if anyone else noticed it.
I only brought it up because, when it did load, there were no posts being made during that time.
No big deal
