lily lily:
[ Script generation time: 0.1202s (PHP: 23% - SQL: 77%) ] - [ SQL queries: 32 ]

Is that better or worse than Hester's?

lol heh someone needs to go bak to school ;)
its worse

0.1202s is greater than 0.0606s, and a lower number is better since its "generation time".

thanks for the feedback, there all good numbers, except dunno why lily's si so much higher.

I still need to get that 32 SQL queries lower. grrr
For non logging in users its only 18
there is a bunch of database stuff that happens if your logged in, like authentication and stuff.

But still that number use to be more than double what is now, but still could be lower.

I am trying another PHP accelerator out, hopefully this one is stable.

So be on the watch out for those PHP violation errors and blank pages again. Please report any problems.

This should provide simular speed benefits as the previous ones that failed to work properly. It claims performance up to 40% increase.

Canadaka @ Wed Sep 27, 2006 11:49 am

so no replies.. i guess thats a good thing, means there has been no problems.

Canadaka @ Wed Sep 27, 2006 11:58 am

hmm im using the same configuration file on the radio server as before, i backed it up. What bitrate to you have set in your shoutcast plugin?

Canadaka @ Wed Sep 27, 2006 1:35 pm

hmm ok, well another note, thats a bit high for net radio. Some people with slower internet might not be able to keep up. I usualy broadcast at 96kbps. but if you have had no complaints than keep on rockin.

I dunno why it might sound "tinny" I was listening to Ripcat the other day and it sounded fine to me.

fatbasturd @ Wed Sep 27, 2006 1:39 pm

I use the same settings for the radio as the funky beaver does

fatbasturd @ Wed Sep 27, 2006 1:40 pm

unless you are messing with something at this exact moment it is slower for me.
