Just noticed that my picture disappeared from the previous page. So here's an even better pic of the little furball called Archie:

My little girl that just passed away. This was her first day in her new home.Her feral mother had hidden her in some bushes outside my home. It was a good thing that the time of the year was right for having the windows open. I kept hearing a kitten meowing outside my window. Every time I went outside, the noise would stop. I grabbed a flashlight and found her hiding in the bushes. She was hissing like a cobra. Some oven mitts helped get her out. She was hungry and thirsty. The vet said she was about four weeks old. I kept an eye out for her mother to return, but she never did.

She liked using my hound dog as a pillow. She would wake him up every morning by licking his face. She would steal my favorite seat and refuse to move. She will be missed.

   

+5 for the kitteh.

It's ok to feel like crap for a while, cats are people too.

Better than people sometimes.


We had our next cat die at 9 months (car), so now we just
pamper and bribe the neighbor's cat.
It's easier for now.

   

It’s amazing how fast cats become part of the family. Take the time to grieve.


Great pictures I always forget just how small they are when they are new

   

Such a pretty girl she was rick. I'm sure she had a happy life with you and her dog buddy as she looked so content in those pics. It's amazing the impact pets can have on our lives.

My furry baby passed away nearly 6 years ago (hard to believe) but lives on as my desktop pic on my laptop. He showed up recently in a dream I had as well which was really strange.

I noticed that somehow the obit I posted has vanished from a previous page so here he is:

Cats and dogs are for sure better than most people.

I've always maintained I'd rather be in a room full of them instead of a room full of people. Anytime.

The newest member of my family. Meet Jimmy blue eyes. Why isn't he just the cutest thing that you have ever seen? My daughter went skiing. She brought me back a present in a gift bag. When I opened the bag, there he was. He was not moving and his eyes were such a bright blue that I thought that he was a stuffed animal.

He is already taking over the house, chasing the dog and rabbit. He is not even eating solid food yet. I had forgot how much work a baby animal really is. I did not ask for him, but I am glad that he is here.

   

Awww, he looks innocent. This too shall pass.

   

What a beautiful kitten!!! Looks like you will have your hands full for a while to come. Amazing how someone that small can take over the house in no time at all. Enjoy
