What's so funny?
Yeah. Farms are fun. You get to run through a cornfield drunk, hop on an ATV and go wherever, shoot, chase chickens, ride horses, enjoy large outdoor fires, great view of the stars. I have almost never had a bad trip to the country...
No cornfield, ATVs are mad fun. Rents are anti-gun but get to drive crazy shit like tractors and golf carts all over the place (I drifted a golf cart). No chicken. Horses are officially the coolest animal ever. Fires are sick, especially with fireworks.

I would prefer to live on a farm. When I go to my uncles Horse farm, I have more fun there then almost anywhere else.
*imagines you as the stereotypical Conservative on a farm*

What's so funny?
The fact that Stereotypical Cosnervative, Albertan and Texan ae compeltely interchangable terms,

What are you talking about?

So frustrating. I have one piece of advise to you, and to anyone else who might someday be in that situation. If a relative stays in a hospital, make sure there is someone with them as much as humanly possible. And if they have knowledge of the system, that's even better.
Maybe it's insensitive to say this, but you can thank Mike Harris and Flaherty for making cuts to hospitals in Ontario. Flaherty was the Minister of Finance and did the deed.
NO! Actually you can thank Bob Rae for starting that. Ever hear of Rae Days in the helathcare field?
Heh. All I remember was in elementary school we got a couple extra days off for March Break. Rae Days lol. We didn't mind that at the time....

No,
I feel ashamed from where I am from,
Never got that from a politician. I was supposed to be born in British Columbia.....
(I don't like Edmonton, Or Calgary *hands you list of Albertan Cities is dislike*)

I have friends from Ontario who live in Calgary. They say they don't like it because it is exactly the same as Toronto. A big city where everyone is rude and only cares about money.....
Really though, when you say an entire city is something to be ashamed of you're making a generalization. Toronto may be a huge city, but it is a city of thousands of tiny neighbourhoods each with their own character and vitality. I'm sure Edmonton and Calgary are the same.
You may have had some bad experiences in Edmonton, but I know there is some very cool stuff in Edmonton and Calgary too. Don't generalize.

I still don't like it,
Though I don't hate it as much as I do Medicine Hat, I still wish I was born where the rest of my family lived. I'm tired of peopel also assuming that because I was bron in Edmonton that I've been to everything in Edmonton. My mother went back to Kelowna 5 days after I was born.
I hate it because it's not where I'm FROM.
Just because I was born there doesn't mean I'm from there....
I'm bloody from british Columbia!

That sucks man.
Get an education, and a good job and you can move anywhere in the world.
Go to university if you can. If you think you can't, take the university stream in high school anyway, just in case!
Just saw this one.
As much as I love Quebec, I would never live here if it were no longer Canada. After a successful referendum I would be making arrangements to fuck off to another province immediately, with my middle finger pointing back at La Belle Province all the way there (Trudeau-style).
I'm a Canadian first and foremost, Quebecker second.

other than leaving I'd fight back, but all in all ditto here.
