Canada first! I've always maintained I was born in the wrong province. I'm a BC girl at heart :D

So frustrating. I have one piece of advise to you, and to anyone else who might someday be in that situation. If a relative stays in a hospital, make sure there is someone with them as much as humanly possible. And if they have knowledge of the system, that's even better.

Maybe it's insensitive to say this, but you can thank Mike Harris and Flaherty for making cuts to hospitals in Ontario. Flaherty was the Minister of Finance and did the deed.

I agree with everything you just typed. 8O Must be a first timer....

You grew up in the Prairies? You're not really a city type person, are you?
I live in a city of about 110,000 people.

It had nothing to do with cuts. They had the money to do their job, they just didn't. My mom was with him most of the time, and she used to be a nurse, SHE did more work then the fucking nurses. She actually had to scream at the head nurse before anything got done around there. Way to turn this into a political issue though asshole.

GFB, you're very persuasive when you speak honestly from the heart. It's one of the reasons I was so on board for supporting you for uber canuck.

And I appreciated it.

I would prefer to live on a farm. When I go to my uncles Horse farm, I have more fun there then almost anywhere else.

Yeah. Farms are fun. You get to run through a cornfield drunk, hop on an ATV and go wherever, shoot, chase chickens, ride horses, enjoy large outdoor fires, great view of the stars. I have almost never had a bad trip to the country...
