Adopted family?

Yeah I was adopted when I was 6 months old. Nothing to be ashamed of, as a matter of fact I'm proud of the fact that I was adopted by a warm, loving family with strong values.

I just never listened to them

They live in Ontario.

When I was in B.C. I got hassled by everyone who found out I was from Ontario.

That's such BS, you were probably hassled for being an ass. As a BCer I have worked with and been friends with people from Ontario, and they have never been hassled because of it. The only people I saw that have been hassled, were the maritimers when I worked in Alberta. And that was all in good fun and they took it in stride.

I walked into the Roger's Video rental store in Van. I showed my Ontario license and the guy started making snide comments and giving me shit. Other than that, the *hassle* was in good fun. You might say something in good fun though, but when you hear the same joke about being a damn easterner 10 times a day from 10 different people it starts to wear on you.

Just because a Newfoundlander smiles and gives a laugh when you make a joke about them doesn't mean it doesn't get to them. They have the stereotype of being lazy, poor, and a welfare state on their shoulders 24/7.

This year I met a girl from Newfoundland who told me being called a Newfie is equivalent in her mind to calling a black person a n*gg*r.

Hey, I had to take a bath with my little one. I can only pretend I have no life from time to time... I take it where I can get it. And yes, I will always be "on" for that topic. It's unconstitutional for the US and a swindle for Canadians.

While I lived in Alberta many people assumed I was a stoner as I was from BC, rather than take offense I realized that anyone who would believe stereotypes is an idiot. If that girl thinks newfie is a negative racial epithet, than she has a rough road ahead in life.

NAU, it has not been drawn up yet? Have you been talking to Pat Robertson?

  Buchanan and Ron Paul perhaps, Pat should be jailed. I see the NAU as complete abdication of sovereignty, one baby step at a time. What do you think it is? Since it hasn't been drawn up yet, what do you base your support on?

Are you kidding me? I grew up in Ontario hearing tonnes of "Newfie" jokes, where "Newfie" was interchangable with "Blonde". Every joke depicts them as being stupid. How many Newfies does it take to screw in a light bulb, etc...

And you can bet your ass they are self-conscious about the fact that their province relies on handouts to exist. The word "Newfie" is not appropriate to use. Peroid.

This demonstrates the difference in values between Ontarians and other Canadians I guess. Ontarians think it's important to respect others.

That's it.

Kill 'em all.

I don't care how inhuman, unheartful, or "UnLiberal" it is, I want all the separatists dead. Bastard fucking pricks.

*raises separatists above America on my list*
