I would like to create a thread dedicated to the wonderful tobacco plant.

I'm learning how to use a pipe, and it is quite a wonderful experience.

I also want to know what you guys (mostly canadians and europeans, i'm american and understand its view) think of tobacco, you view point and what not.

And how big a role does it play in your culture?

I also would like to see pics-o-foriegn and canadian cigarettes

I will try to help you with tobacco questions, and the like, and please, help me, as I am a newcomer to the wonderfully joyful life of a tobacco user.

And yes, I like to smoke, and will have a pro-tobacco stand point. I don't know if the debate is that big in Canada, but tis here in the wonderfully free *cough* (     ) land of america.

I dunno... Smokeing always seemed kind of stupid to me. But I guess South Park put it best... Who cares if I get cancer when I'm 60, who wants to be 90 anyway?

The pipe is an ancient style of art, and it is necassary it be passed down through the generations...(i'm only 16 so that's the excuse I give my mother)

Plus it is just a hell of a lot of fun!!!

Einstein credited alot of his thoughts to the calming effect of a good pipe.

He loved his pipe.

So did Mark Twain. 'Tis a major theme in Tom Sawyer...

Yeah... I got a light!!! PDT_Armataz_01_34

[drool] mmmm.... pipe good...

the kids on South Park are pretty smart... so who can argue with them???  ROTFL

I smoke a pipe of tobacco occasionally. Its alot smoother and more enjoyable then a cigar or cigarette.

how true life is the leading cause of death...

so why not make it as fun and enjoyable as possible now, eh!!!

and i never smoke around those who would rather me not...

i do think you require an ettiquette when smoking a pipe, that a ciggy don't got... SO NEVER SMOKE A PIPE (or any tobacco) AROUND SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE AROUND IT!!! that's very rude and causes pipe smokers a bad reputation.

oohhh.. and I had and bought my first pipe in Toronto!! tobacco was from uummm... Grouch's i think at Yonge and Bloor????

A very nice genlteman gave my friend and I a bowlful each. Very pleasant.... yes.. indeed...

ThatNBguy @ Fri Aug 26, 2005 9:02 pm

I agree completely.
