so they put american shows on CBC nowadays? I havent watched tv in over 10 years so I'm out of touch...

The existence of the CBC isn't the problem. The pro-Liberal/liberal bias combined with the anti-Tory/conservative hatred of the management in CBC News is the problem. Get rid of the bias in favour of the Liberals by clearcutting the management in the CBC News section and the problem solves itself.

I think it deserved to stay, but it needs a real overhaul.
When I first read this thread I flipped to the guide to see what was on CBC - Simpsons, followed by Arrested Development, and then after the news, Coronation Street.
That's bullshit - nobody needs tax-funded reruns of dumb old Simpsons.

I agree. They really need to focus on producing Canadian and Canada-oriented programming.
