This is the transcript of a radio conversation between a US naval ship and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland.

Canadian: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision.
Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the north to avoid a collision.
Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision.
Americans: This is the captain of a US navy ship. I say again, divert your course.
Canadians: No. I say again, you divert your course.
Americans: This is the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln, the second largest ship in the United States Atlantic fleet. We are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers and numerous support vessels. I demand that you change your course 15 degrees north, I say again, that's one five degrees north, or counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.
Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

LMAO I nearly JOINED them years ago when I came out west. I used to live behind the Turf restaraunt in Surrey (BridgeView) Know about them, a very good regiment. I used to drink at the Flamingo Hotel up on the hill and at the New West Tavern at the lrt station

   

I have lived in Surrey for YEARS and NEVER once visited the Turf....LOL.......the Flamingo (otherwise known as the Dirty Bird) is still there........I feel a little dirty when I drive by either!!! I don't own my own body armour or ceramic plates, so I stay way from those um, classy joints!

Yes, the Westies are a top class regiment.........So for that matter RH, is yours......
