Another quick update. If you can't watch the video because it's unavailable, it's not my fault. The Beeb has been all over YouTube in the last few days to pull as many Top Gear clips as they can.

So if you can't watch it here, you can go to YouTube and search for Top gear and you'll find a clip somewhere.

   

Thats why I posted those 6,I knew they were still up but not for long. Youtube's really been taking a beating lately.

   

No kidding. Ever since Google bought up YouTube, it's gotten really bad.

   

I may have to start watching TV again. If it wasnt for youtube I never would have heard of that show.You would think the BBC would welcome the exposure.

   

Exactly. I saw that original clip I posted on an American website (www.crooksandliars.com to be precise) and I never knew that show existed.

   

I'm not sure what these people expected to happen. It would be like going to England and writing Manchester United is rubbish. Also put England sucks on the side and the queen is a tramp too. Just add a miniature American flag on the car aerial to top it off and as soon as your car is parked chances are it will be upside down by the time you get back.

When I worked for Big Eagle on the Oil Rigs, PD (Precision Drilling) crew would not let the visible minorities use the same toilet.

New to the Rigs, I learned fast if I wanted to work, to keep my mouth shut.

They give you orientation and training before you go to the rig.

But like a newbie, when I saw drug use by PD staff and a Big Eagle driver and racism, I reported it. Dumb, dumb, I got suspended for 2 weeks while they investigated the incident.

You want to see low class ignorant red necks, go work the oil rigs.

   

Ya I used to build some their roads and leases and did the rig pulls in and out. Presicion is one of the stickier outfits for testing to.
Sometimes pipelining it was the spread boss's who kept the boys in smoke. I found they were more lenient then the drilling outfits.

For sure some rednecks in those small towns though and lots of them werent that way when they came here from the east.Sometimes the boys from the Trochu bar would drive ten miles to the Elnora bar just to beat up the boys,next week the Elnora boys would come to Trochu and get their revenge.
Pretty wild,I kept my mouth shut and kept to myself,some hard drinking people in that industry.
Try the green bar in Strathmore someday.you can still throw your peanut shells on the floor there and all the waitresses wear lowriders.

I've been watching it 9 seasons now, all from that site. It's a great show.

   

In most places, you'd get a stern looking at. Except in Manchester, they you'd get beat up.

But never, never would a pickup full of 'good ole boys' show up with a gunrack and a pitbull.

   

imagine if they had been black!
