One might've thought that he would have realized that he had reached the height of irrelevance when his South Park portrayal painted him as a geriatric geezer in a wheelchair. Performing in Las Vegas - which one presumes is the only locale where concert goers would go to see a geriatric geezer in a wheelchair.

It could be worse, you know. Afterall, "Barbra Steisand And Liza Minelli Sing The Blues" hasn't been released,... YET!

Yes but Steven Segal has released a blues cd out this month. I have not heard anything on it yet. I don't expect much. He had some great blues artists on it though. I think I should start a blues thread and review it there if I get the chance.

Yeah, I saw Russell Crowe on Conan the other night doing his best impression of Elvis, or something... it wasn't very good.

it seems to be a trend these days, actors doing music. even william shatner has a cd, although it is mostly spoken, i think.

and there's WWE wrestlers too, well, jericho anyway, i think....

it's so irrelevant anyway, they won't be huge or in the top 40s

Does anyone remember Simply Red "Stars"? For your sakes I hope not. Even thinking about it now I get this wierd nausea feeling in my chest which is somehow creeping into my arms.... help!
