I think EPS actually used restraint in that incident, as the woman was armed with a knife and threatened to stab someone else. It may have looked harsh, but it's better than her getting shot or tasered IMHO.

And that's why police need bodycams. It protects us as much as them. If there didn't happen to be a nearby camera it's just their word.

No disagreement there - the EPS is one of the few major police forces in Canada that refuses to equip its officers with them, and it stinks.

The ceremony was to clean the slate, that they couldn't be bothered to show is shame on them and the police force. They should be fired.
