Regina Regina:
This guy should have retired years ago. He probably has the worst attendance record and has done nothing for the area. His Liberal counterpart in the southern part of the city does more in a morning that this guy does in a year. He was a minister in the Martin govt and it still didn't help. He was working on being an ambassador to the Vatican.

couldn't agree more with you, no show Joe sucked

Im finding it rather amazing how little people understand about the fundementals of democracy. Free votes are absolutly essential to the democratic process.

We have 308 seats in the commons, right now 4 of them are party leaders. Do you really want 4 people to run the country? The guy with the most party members automatically wins?

Whiped votes are the reason there is no real debate in our system! Elected members need to be able to balance their voting disicions based on what there voters want, whats best for them, and whats best for the country.

Free votes are even more essential when its a confidance matter. It should be based off of the voters. Do We The Voters Have Confidance In The House?

---------

Dion: Hi Im Stephan Dion. Im a political newbie that got less than 30% support from my party, but am leader anyway. My Political master, PM Cretien really wanted Bob Rae to run the party, but I won. And he's been really helpfull. I do everything he tells me, my other advisers say its political suicide but he was PM for so long and says I could be the next Truedeu! I find it really hard to make priorities so just doing what John tells me sure takes the load off!

They had to show him the door....toe the line or say good-bye, besides the way the poor bastards eyes are poping out i would say his "diaper" was full anyway.

Comuzzi is a coward. He knew what the result would be by not voting with the party on an important issue like the budget. If he wanted out of the party, he should have grew a set of gonads and resigned from the party. Instead he made it seem like he is getting kicked out for his beliefs. Chances are, he realizes this is his last shot and wants a spot in cabinet. I hope the Conservatives are sensible enought not to offer this idiot a spot.

Budgets are presented by the party, we can't have 308 people with different budgets and expect that the best one will get voted on. It just doesn't work like that. The budget is a decision which affects every ministry and deals with all the federal funding in the country. For that reason you are either with your party or against them.

I just don't see Stephane Dion as a strong leader. I don't think he has the ability to control his own people.

Remember the drama with Stockwell Day, his MPs that revolted against him? I think the liberal party is going to see some drama similar to those events.

I'll tell you one thing, the people of Thunder Bay (myself included) don't see him as a coward. Only whiny liberals do.

Really, his reason for supporting it was for funding for a molecular cancer research centre that employs 300 people and was not even in the budget. Glad to see he is putting the interests of 300 individuals over the needs of his constituency.

I think Ruserious and Derby went over to Babble.
I just checked that site out. I think I can be banned from there by putting forth my opinion in a polite way. Lets see how long it takes.

I think I lasted 4-5 posts before our good friend Rev Blair had me banned for arguing with one of the more opinionated lefties on an issue. The member cursed me, wished me dead, referred to me as a war criminal, etc.. I rebutted all his points with logic and clear thinking(something not existing on that sight) and I think Rev was scared that intelligent free thought would crash the site. Anyways tricks, see how long it takes, don't curse, call names etc just stick to facts and intelligent discussions and give us an update!

So the lefties here don't think I am completely biased, I have visited Free Dominion but never posted. It took one read to realise that most of their posters are as loony as most of babbles idiots. I say we take all members of both sites, drop them off an an island, and have them fight to the death. The winner we take out back and shoot. 8O

the cancer research centre is part of the new Northern School of Medicine which will bring a whole lot more to Thunder Bay than just jobs. You don't know what you're talking about, we've been looking for this for a long time. Just cause you're pissed doesn't mean Thunder Bay Liberals are as well.

This is a ridiculous assertion and an outright lie. Perhaps you could explain how I had you banned from Babble? Perhaps you could tell me when the last time I posted there was? Perhaps you could ask the mods/admin there if they even know who I am.

Quit making shit up. Either prove what you say, or shut the fuck up.

Isn't that what an MP does? Stands up for issues that relate to their people? This is what his constituents want so he should do what he can to make it happen.

Wow, a tough guy! I was sure you were a mod and I know that there is bad blood between us, so maybe I assumed it was you. If not, sorry for the accusation. C'est la vie. But I know that "old goat" who is a mod on the site and yourself have extremely similair posting styles, using almost the same arrogant rhetoric, so sue me if I read too much into.

I still stand by my last sentence, as you are/were one of the loonies. 8O

Rev_Blair @ Thu Mar 22, 2007 10:59 am

I post everywhere under the same name, 2Cdo. I've never been a mod or an admin at Babble. I was an occasional poster there, but not enough to be considered a regular.

If you were banned from there, it was likely for breaking the terms of service. I've never seen anybody banned from there for any other reason.

Perhaps you accused somebody of being arrogant when they posted facts you couldn't refute and didn't like. Perhaps you accused somebody of having you banned from another site for no reason, thus committing libel.

I don't know why you were banned or what the circumstances were, but I know you well enough to understand that you are pretty much incapable of acting in a civilized manner among your betters.

Well first Rev, I was civil and tried refuting a poster who posted comments that would have had them banned from any other site on the net, but he was a hardcore leftie, so no ban. When I pointed out said comments and asked for proof to back his allegations I was cursed out, called a war criminal and other ignorant comments by said member. The next day I tried to log on and discovered I was banned but Mr Hateful was still ranting full speed ahead. The sight trumpets free speech but only if you are stating what the left already agrees with.

As for this ridiculous comment in bold, you don't know me from Adam. You know me as a guy who speaks his mind on the internet and nothing more. As far as acting civilized lets see your civilized comment;

As for anyone on that site being my better, you're a funny guy. That is hilarious, I didn't think you had a sense of humour, keep them coming.
