Comuzzi expelled from Liberal caucus over budget
??
I was just pointing out that the term "Hunky" was not offensive to one, and a number of other Hungarian Canadians.
MCB doesn't need our help and I don't care what other forums do, but I definately don't want to see you're sad bullying style of debate come here.
Except that it used to refer to Ukrainian Canadians and was a favourite slur used by the guards in the camps where they locked us up.
One thing I can always count on conservatives for...to be stupid and have no grasp of the facts.
oh, my "bullying style of debate"? That comes from knowing what's going on.
no, it comes from being a dick.
that being said, many CKA conservatives are the same way

It's kinda hard for him to have any thing remotely close to a debate at one of his other haunts. There are only like three regular posters at the one I went to tonight. The rev, mrmom and Canadian make up about 90% of the thread starters.........ROFL
Anything over there posted which in any manner challeges any of Rev Blare's opinion/pronouncements is declared

What "Camp" were you locked up in Rev? When did that happen? liar, liar, liar....
The wounded victim routine won't work with us over here Rev. We're all grown ups. By the way, I'm still waiting for you to substantiate your accusation that Canadian soldiers gang-raped a waitress in a Winnipeg hotel.
Still waiting.....
Still waiting....
liar, liar, liar, liar......

Back on topic or I lock this one.
Fair enough Regina, this thread has digressed.
I think the salient point remains, Comuzzi was right to vote against his party on the budget for the sake of his constituents.
Nonetheless, Dion has much bigger fish to fry. And he was equally within his rights to fire Commuzzi for doing it.
So was Harper in Turner's case.

They locked Ukrainian Canadians up in work camps during WWI. I had some relatives who were locked up, as do many others.
As for Comuzzi...what would Harper have done if one of his MPs said he was going to vote against his party on a budget bill?
He would have kicked that MP out of the party.
You don't vote against your party on budget bills. Comuzzi has been around long enough to know that.
