ELECTION 2021 - Trudeau calls federal election

So what part of 'been in the Military' is relevant to a political qualification?
Good at issuing orders or good at unquestionably following them?
Seems like 'worked at/managed' McDonalds is more relevant to a Conservative - issued followed orders AND learned financial responsibility
I like O’Toole’s bio much more than JT’s and O’Toole more than JT but I’ll still probably vote Liberal.

It's all about character. Military service builds it, speaking in a moistly voice lets character leak out.

Oh Jeez, you really liked that ad mocking Chretien's voice too eh?
Yeah lots of them had character when they signed up. Came out dangerous characters too.(borrowed from George Carlin)

Anyways, dropped my ballot in the box today. Amazing how my voter card was in this morning's mail to remind me.

You also have to remember that the NDP and it's supporters can't even spell 'military', let alone know what it is or what it does.

Johnathan Vance, Mike Rouleau, Dany Fortin, even Russell Williams, are also veterans. Being a veteran does not preclude being a dick.
If you're looking for the biggest dick, find the lawyer.
What if the lawyer has a giant lifted pickup truck?
Then he's probably been disbarred in all the western provinces. And intends to vote for Kevin J. Johnston for mayor of Calgary.

There’s also the fact that nothing is handed to you in the military. So he will be able to recall how hard it was to keep a budget and how unexpected things can throw it out really quickly! Unlike Trudeau.

Elections Canada says 1.3 million votes cast on first day of advance polling

The Bloc candidate here is Louis Sansfaçon, an ex police officer who was a double-agent in 1991 when he was arrested. He was convicted of possession (1 kilo of cocaine and hash) and of stealing evidence. Spent 18 month in prison before getting a conditional release and then a pardon in 2010.
Sounds like a nice guy.

With that kind of record of fully enjoying his personal freedom and not letting any tyrannical rules hold him down you'd think he'd be a major star candidate instead for Maxime's party of cranks, crooks, and kooks.
raydan @ Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:24 pm
...and now, since there is no Rhino candidate in my riding, I'm stuck. There is absolutely nobody I want to vote for.
