It's is very intersting how the Haper Gov't was able to uncover a terror ring ready to attack Canada.

Sounds like he is using Bush tatics to scare the public. Tried and proven. Guess we will have a Harper government for another "4" years.

The RCMP and CSIS that did this, not Harper.
Don't forget those big black SUV's that look just like many big black SUV's in the US.
He probably eats white bread, or maybe brown.. just like all those folks in America..

Trilium, you are a loon.

Look I understand the political landscape of Canada. It has been proven that educated people vote towards Liberal or Social Values.

The Uneducated, the followers are usually Conservatives, bible thumpers.

I can see from the above two posts that the Canadian educational systems is obviously slipping.

Harper/CICS/RCMP whatever. These fuckes were "entrapped." The RCMP sold them the goods.

These where Canadian citizens (Camel Jockeys, yes, but Canadians nevertheless). Their rights as Canadians were violated.

So is the tin hat too tight or what?

There is a huge difference between catching terrorists and warning of terrorism like they did leading up to the last U.S. election. They have been watching these suspected terrorists since 2004 when the Liberals were in power so were Liberals trying to manipulate the public to?

Bravo to the Candian authorities for thwarting a possible attack which could have killed thousands, but I guess you don't see that do you tritetium?

We can say one thing, at least we act on intelligence in this country and catch the alleged assholes before they strike unlike a certain nation we all know. :D

Darwin Bless Canada.

1. it was still entrapment

2. Canadian rights were violated.

3. I BET THEY GET OFF BECAUSE OF IT???

4. Yes it is great that they were able to stop a fictitious attack on Canada.

Canadian farmers better watch out this year when they fertilize their crops, buying fertilizer in bulk is now illegal. Joe framer is now a prospective terrorist.

The only fertilizer I see here, is a bunch of horse shit.

Didn't you claim to be a conservative supporter, who just didn't like Harper? Every thread you make proves that is rubbish, therefore, everything you post is rubbish.
Harpers doing very well so maybe GWB should learn from Harper.

I'm guessing that all those educated liberals told you that educated people vote Liberal  I would point out there is a difference between educated and intelligent.

[...] A large problem in Canada’s fight against terrorism at home was the previous Liberal government, which was voted out of power earlier this year after 12 years of rule. The Liberals are Canada’s party of multiculturalism. As a result, the Liberal government hesitated to crack down hard on terrorist groups, enforce deportation orders (such as the one against Ahmed Ressam) or tighten lax immigration and asylum laws for fear of alienating the urban ethnic vote that forms a large part of their constituency.

Former Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chretien once even had the temerity to say that there were no terrorist groups in Canada, causing CSIS to go to the Canadian public via the media to contradict him, saying there were at least 50 terrorist organizations operating on Canadian soil. A vindictive Chretien then cut CSIS’ budget. So is it any wonder that Canada’s only court-recognized expert on jihadism, Tom Quiggen, recently told a Canadian national newspaper that “…some of the world’s most infamous terrorists have operated in Canada almost unhindered for years.” [...]

Oh boy!!

I'm sure which of you knuckle heads is worse.

The one who thinks this is a political conspiracy or the one who (and I saw this coming) thinks the Cons are the only reason this happened even though the investigation started in 2004 during Liberal rule.

I tip my hat to everybody involved without prejudice.

?? Are you putting words in my mouth again? Are you so prejudice that you don't even read what I post?

If we had to rely on the Fed's (Any party feds) for our police work, we'd have all died during the Trudeau years.

I do believe that the large immigrantion process the Libs loved is a large contributor to these problems.

You ignorant fool, Tritium.

You are not living in the real world.

Was reality ever even a friend of yours?

Jesus people like you piss me off.
