How Abortion is done..
Depending on when you take the pill, or how long after the "event", you may not even be pregnant. If it's taken right away, it could be taken in order to prevent a pregnancy from what I understand.
But of course, in some cases you could be pregnant, even if only for a few hours, and then of course it would be considered a form of abortion. But IMO, still much safer for the woman, physically and emotionally, and less traumatic for her and her fetus.

Communism and having no choice are not related?

yes!
maybe if you have specified what choice...
but abortion and communism are absolutely not related!
btw, how about far from comunist catholic countries, where women accoding to the legislation have no choice?

I don't think I understand the question? I am PRO CHOICE, not pro religion. Meaning ANY choice.

i am pro choice too! and i fully support one of the statments you made here above

That life could turn out in a misserable one. I rather see someone have an abortion at 6 weeks of pregnancy, then starve her/his child to death at age 4. AND IT FREAKIN' HAPPENS! More than you want to know.
Yes, I'm pro choice. But that does NOT necessarily mean I am pro-abortion always. Sometimes, I am. But definitely not always. I was horrified when a friend aborted her child because "it didn't fit in her life" right then. Hubby left her and her first born. In a country like this, that was NOT necessary. You can raise your kids on welfare here.
Like Shep said earlier, prevention should be the first choice.
i didn't mean you were pro religion, i only wanted to point out that it's mostly reigious countries (like Ireland) don't give women this choice, not communist countries (if there actualy are any...)
i specfied the choice, cause not having any to save the child or to make an abortion doesn't mean that there are no choices in other fields of life. And vica versa, if this choice (to make abortion) is granted, it doesn't guarantee the width of choice in everything else.
why to push on communism at all? need a boogyman?

I know, about Ireland, and that is the reason "Women on Waves" exists.
Why communism? Because I didn't want to make it a religious thing

Ehhhmmmm, YEAH, I certainly do... So what's up now? Pro-choice people don't agree, so they are bullshit anyway? Nice conversation

I didn't mean to say abortion and communism go hand in hand. What I tried to say, is HE would probably feel better in communist country, without giving people any right to choose on anything.

and this i do not agree with...
I am in the camp of those who believe the decision of abortion should be left to the woman, but only in dire circumstances. Victim of rape, or if the woman's health is at risk from the pregnancy. I don't have the patience or the compassion for women who use abortion as a method of birth control.
