The video really turned your ghoulish crank didn't it?

   

Awwww ain't that sweet, showing all that butthurt when you realize that you fucked up... again.

   

Seems we had this discussion before and it was pointed out that had Rob Ford been a junkie living on the lawn of the courthouse in Victoria or in some Toronto doorway the left would have been all over it using their usual rhetoric about how, he just made a mistake and how his problems were caused by and exacerbated because of the rights lack of compassion and understanding about his addiction.

So, it's all about perspective. The left didn't hate him because he was an addict, they hated him because of his politics and weren't below using his addiction as an excuse to get him removed from office.

So, if we're going to be fair when talking about Rob Ford then, both sides have something to reflect on. The truth of the matter is that the right was wrong about his moral character but, the left was completely hypocritical in attacking him for his addiction while defending the actions of other addicts.

If the tables had been turned it's quite possible the right would have reacted the same but, since they weren't we can't know if they would have become as hateful and vindictive as the left did..

   

Oh, pish posh. The usual "would have been" charge with nothing to back it up. It's not that he was a crackhead, associating with gang bangers, but that he was doing that while holding elected office. The guy was totally out of control. There have been lots of addicts of all kinds and all political persuasion. If they just admit their problem and go into rehab, nobody really holds it against them. Certainly not the case here.

I guess it makes you feel better to go on about what the left "would have done," rather than focusing on the bullshit the right was actually putting out in this case.

I just knew how certain people would react to this.

   

Why release this? Rob is gone. All this does is open up wounds.

   

The timing may suck, but it's still important to our justice system that evidence and proceedings are open to being scrutinized by the public. It's the only way to be sure trials are fair and unbiased.

Trial by media, doubly so.

   

Is there some election coming up where R. Fords party could be hurt by the release of the Video?

   

Nope. Mayor Ford was a municipal politician, there aren't any parties at that level of politics anyhow. And there was an election last year or so. Municipal elections are every 4 years.

   

Lefties have no class, no shame, and no morals.

   

Beaver and his fap crowd are really helping the KMB stock. Dividend has gone up from 84 to 88 a share.

   

Can't ever give up the right-left bullshit and call self righteous hypocritical arseholes what they are, and how they universally decry anything they don't like as 'left'.

Ford was a public figure, the crack video was major news and now it's released. That's what "news" is.
We supposed to not speak ill of Osama BinLaden or Stalin cuz they're dead and their family might get upset?

F off and go back to dreaming about a chubby PM who wears a sweater when he's surfing.

   

The charges were dropped, so I don't think that applies. But there was also no further reason to keep the vid secret.

Funny how some here seem to see the court releasing the vid as a leftie plot. Ford was our Trump, guess he engenders the same irrational devotion in some. "The justice system is rigged, I tell you." Guess it's embarrassing how deep the devotion went for this severely damaged man.

   

Shouldn't you wait for at least one post before showing us what a two faced hypocrite you are ?
