Yep, 2 of the posters here reveal their mind-numbing hypocrisy and total disrespect towards a dead man because he wasn't one of "theirs". And a third showed up to just show that he also wasn't lacking in the hypocritical asshole trait.

   

Oh yeah I'm sure if Ford had been a toxic, offensive and crude liberal you'd all be shedding a tear for him just because he died.

Rob Ford based his entire career and public persona on being as toxic and offensive as possible, and he and his supporters repeatedly proclaimed that they didn't care how many people he offended.

When you refuse to show others even basic levels of decency and civility, you can't complain that you didn't receive the highest level of respect and courtesy from those same people.

Somebody call the waaaambulance for the typical right wing bully who dishes out toxic hostility by the ton on a daily basis, but cries like a baby if their kind don't get kid glove treatment around the clock.

It's not Ford. The guy was a buffoon. We can't argue that. Nor is it the nimrods here commenting. It's Ford's children that have to hear all this shot about their dad. For all his failings he was their father, they loved him and lost him young. The fact that the nimrods here can't see that is what is truly sad and pathetic. Primeass really exemplifies this.

   

I'm not a liberal but I thought Ford should have been forced to resign. Leave the silly populist meathead politics behind. He was sworn as mayor to uphold the law and he broke it by getting involved with one of the worst street drugs out there. The whole situation was disgusting. It was an exact mirror image of stupidity to what happened in Washington DC when Marion Berry did the exact same thing. He was caught on tape doing drugs and instead of doing the dignified thing and resigning he and his idiot supporters from "the community" dug in and doubled down. The city was made to look like a laughing stock because of Barry, just like Toronto was thanks to Ford. That so many people went to bat for Ford, because "he's a regular guy just like us", was fucking repugnant.

   

Yep. And even though I don't know Ford as anything more than a crack-smoking populist loudmouth Mayor of Toronto, someone shows up with tired bullshit about 'respecting the dead'.
With offering grounds to support such a thing other than pointing fingers back.

I respect the dead and the alive who deserve it.
