Stop Muslim immigration into Canada

WE have plenty of unemployed Canadians who could do the work. And, since there not horde of immigrants flooding in, desperate to take any job at any pay, wages at the bottom end would go up = less social problems, less policing and medical costs, stabler society.

Ofcourse they will. When pogey runs out, lower wage jobs start looking mighty attractive. And as I say, if wages rise, because less people (immigrants) competing for jobs, will make those jobs seem attractive all of a sudden. It's a win win - we improve society and are safer because we're not importing people who want to harm us or fight their battles over here (Sikhs, Tamils...)

Lets face it Brenda... throw out the political correct shit.. these people have an agenda and that is the take over and conversion to Islam of all infidels.. there are no moderate muslims, they are trained, taught and brain washed from the crotch to the terrorists training camps to kill or be killed in the name of Allah.. if you talk to a muslim long enough to feel comfortable enough to broach the subject they will tell you.. they are landing here one way or the other and they are building Mosques form PEI to Vancouver Island... I would guess that the 35000 illigals in the country that they can't find are Muslims, muslims busy planning and plotting terrorist acts.. and these will be seen in Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver in the near future.. so its time to stop being cheek turning Christians and take a stand... before its too late...

Yes they could. Since immigrants are driving the cabs, it may suggest that they won't.

Yes they could. Since immigrants are driving the cabs, it may suggest that they won't.
May I suggest that one one time truck drivers (in VAncouver) and taxi drivers were almost all Canadians. (Now most of them seem to be Punjabi.) No reason that can't be the case again. Canadians will take those jobs if they pay a living wage, don't have the wages driven down by immigrants desperate to take any job, because it's still better than home. So we all pay a little more for a cab, and the drive gets to make a decent living.

As an immigrant, I live in a small town of BC, 800 kms from Vancouver, and I can tell you that the CANADIAN companies pay the CANADIAN residents $8, to $8.50 to work nightshifts. I don't know what the cabdriver makes, but the dispatcher makes $8.50 There are little to NO visible minorities here. So your generalization may be true for the city, but Canada is larger than the city.

Brenda is right. Too many times views on the Forum and in the media reflect the reality of the large urban areas in Canada.
Canada is much more than that. If you drive 90 minutes from Toronto in any direction ( besides the lake) you will soon be in rural Ontario where jobs are scarce, low in pay and 95% taken and competed for by white people.
I'm sure it's the same in every other province.
Sometimes we urban types forget that there is a Canada where multi-lane freeways fear to tread. So do most immigrants, they stick to the cities and various ethnic enclaves within those cities.

Not bad but I think the writer is looking at too rosy a picture.
I equate support for the Jihadi's to the support the Irish Catholics in Northern Ireland gave and still give to the IRA and other Catholic terror groups.
Most Irish Catholics in NI didn't join the IRA. But most either gave it tacit support by giving them cash or moral encouragment or just refused to challenge them out of personal fear or apathy.
I see Mulsims in the west in the same vein. Most don't try and get on aircraft with bombs up their arses, but many support the ideal of an Islamic Ummah and want to it to spread.
They oppose western intervention in failed Muslim states such as Afghanistan.
They turn a blind eye to the excesses of the Taliban and the Somali al Shabbab as they execute women or whip them for wearing bras.
They give funds and tacit support to the Jihadi's and whoop for joy when airliners crash into US buildings.
They have a long way to go before they become true Canadians or Americans.
