Or can you not interpret the feces coming out of your mouth? Pride is a good thing bub/bud/dude....whatever. we are a proud country as well. Ours is not the same pride of course . Neither is better in my opinion but it seems as though day in and day out your "American pride" is getting your countrymen into a lotta hot water around the world. Theres a lotta ass getting kicked out there and its more often than not yours. What's the post war death toll at now? In either Afghanistan or Iraq take your pic. These aren't victories until a goal has been reached. and a goal in these conflicts has yet to be decided. This American pride and its assertion on foreign affairs, in foreign countries is what got ya 9-11. And still you sing the song of instigation. I sit here, not defended or protected by the U.S. but by my own country. Some times the best defense is peace and knowing when to shut the fuck up.

Since you want to talk about Iraq & Afghanistan consider this: Since 9/11 we've liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, disrupted al Qaida, put nuke inspectors in Libya, Iran & N. Korea, (without killing anyone, need I say?) And captured a terrorist (Hussein) who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. And what you're saying is that you are fine with that, as long as it's not in Canada. That's why I have been saying all a long, "CANADA DOES NOT RATE TO CRITICIZE THE U.S." Pull your weight, then say what you want.

Where does this U.S. pride come from? See when I go out here at home, I hold my head high and walk like I own the bitch. In this nation you can do that, and not cause ya have a gun in you pants. When's the last time Canada had a plane flown through a window and thousands of our citizens dead? NEVER. Why? Because we accept that we live in a world where opposing views are just that.
