Who will replace Dion following election loss?
hwacker hwacker:
Bring on Turdeau, I was too young when his ahole father ran this country into the ground. I want to get the shots in this time.
You're 96 years old! How the fuck were you too young?!

If there will be one thing to motivate Conservatives, it would be Trudeau. I would fight like hell.
The way things are going, we're going to wind up with another minority government, as none of our "esteemed" politicians are covering themselves with glory. Who get's the minority...who cares? It'll just be another waste of $300 million dollars and another year of getting next to nothing done.
If I was a tin hatter, I'd think all these politicians were in cahoots with each other to get paid for doing nothing...
$1:
Once the rest of Canada get's to hear Mr. Dion speak with his poor English, everything West of Ontario will be Blue.
Chretien couldn't speak either of the Official Languages, and that didn't stop him...

Canadians were very unhappy at that time with Mulroney. It could have been anyone at that point heading the Liberals and they would have won.
And yet we had how many years of Jean Chretien?
$1:
So you loved what that commie did to this country.
Wow, that's gotta be the first time I've heard someone being referred to as a Commie...And I was under the impression that the Cold War was over adn we had moved beyong all of this...Old habits die hard I guess.

The reason we had so many years of Jean Chretien was a divided right and a pathetic NDP. Jean Chretien won on the backs of division, and barely managed even that.

Yep...that just about sums it up. Two months of negative rhetoric and another minority.

This pretty much says it all. When I first saw this poll there was 165 votes with 70% not wanting an election. This pretty much was the same results as an earlier poll I had read. I think this is the very reason Dion backed away from forcing an election by backing the Bloc vote of non-confidence. It seems Chretien is reading the public and sees what many others see. The Conservatives are doing a good job and any Liberal push for a vote would force a majority vote. All Harper has to do is continue on with his current path and the Liberals will continue to lose support. We all knew there would be a spike in support when a new dictator was voted in. We also know, as does Chretien, that it would take a major blunder by the Conservatives in order to call an election. People are aware of the $300,000,000 price tag of an election and if things are working, why mess with it. Doing so by the Liberals would only come across as greedy. Time for the mofia to take a break and let real government people run the show and get Canada back on track.

Given that we're likely to be headed into a spring election and that Harper will remain PM, who would take over from Dion when they lose?
I like Dion but his accent is so strong I can barely make out what he's saying, this will hurt him in a campaign. This Canadian is tired of the Elite of Quebec governing this country.

That is sadly true. The NDP has failed to establish an identity since we last had a clearly ideological landscape, back in the Mulroney years.

Spoken like a true fake Liberal.
I was waiting for burnin pussy to scratch, and sure enough, it is an anti liberal statment.
Drop that fake liberal flag my friend.
What,, are you stalking people now?

He's really confused by the two flags thing. For some reason he can't figure out what it could mean, and what its implications are as to my agenda. I guess he doesn't recall the old "Red Tory/Blue Tory" distinction that Harper has managed to unite.

I don't have to figure out what it means. I don't judge by flags and badges that people wave. I think you are neither Liberal nor NDP but some fake ID created to back conservatives by showing that con men are supported by lib and NDP supporters on some issues.
Wear any badge, fly any flag, I simply track your views, not your uniform.
So far we have this much from you:
a. Sad about Chretien.
b. Martin was a wimp.
c. Dion will fail.
All VERY cleverly put out under the Liberal banner!
Directed to ridenrain...
