2014 World Cup

Two of the three matches today were simply excellent. Algeria v. S Korea was an unexpected goal fest with Algiera being the first African team ever to score four goals in a game in the WC ever.
And I thought the US had that game won. It was an enthralling game with end to end attacking and fantastic goals to boot.
The final round of group games start tomorrow and there will be some guaranteed humdingers on offer in the next few days.

yup

The first of the knockout games were set today. Brazil will face Chile and Mexico gets to face Holland after today's games.
The big game tomorrow is Italy v. Uruguay to see who survives the group of death.

Suarez really sunk his teeth into the game......

.....took a bite out of the opposition.....

Yeah. He went full retard.....again. How can such a brilliant striker be such an idiot sometimes?

Better question will be if he's allowed to stay in the tourney then what the fuck's gone wrong with FIFA's disciplinary system. If another guy gets three games suspension for tossing an elbow then someone who bites another player should justly be banned for life from the WC for biting someone. Except for maybe deliberately spiking another player in the face biting is about the worst thing that can happen in any sport.

His World Cup is over most likely. The worst FIFA can do is give him a 24 match suspension which is about 2 years worth of games.

Seems that the reason behind the bite might be Chiellini's poor taste in music.

The worst?
FIFA could ban him for life. Which would effectively end his career (EPL adhere's to FIFA rulings) as well as his WC aspirations.
Violent act during an international match (WC no less!) means that Suarez is open any and all disciplinary acts at FIFA's disposal.
He could, theoretically, also face criminal charges.
Edit:
Xerxes, you are correct, FIFA has officially given the review panel 2 match - 24 month ban range...whic, in my opinion is pretty ridiculous. Fixing bets...life time ban...biting a third time...max 2 years...must be nice to be a star.
Still waiting to see if Chiellini will press assault charges.
He can't help it. His teeth just keep growing if he doesn't chew on something. He's the Uruguayan Beaver.
Looking forward to the US crushing the boxheads tomorrow.

*cough*cough* wrong side of the WOG line *cough* where this kind of unmanly behaviour isn't just acceptable, it's actively encouraged *cough*cough*
