That wasn't in your first post and why not post something on the Tesla as its electric and stock (instead of an after marked tuned Impala?)? Oh wait...it's one of those foreign cars.
I thought Tesla was made in California?
I thought the Tesla roadster was produced in England?

You are correct, it's built at the Lotus factory. I guess it's just the head office in California.

It is BS. We can go and find all kinds of after-market cars whose sole purpose is to crazy fast in a straight line, but it's hardly a comparison. I'd love to see that Chevy take a corner vs the Lambo. Oh wait, that's not a fair comparison.

But how many will be as green as this Impala...????
That is the whole point of this conversion.... Green energy can produce performance cars....

I guess you didn't read the link to the article in my second post... And since the R&D for Tesla is down in the USA by an American company, how does that make the Tesla 100% foreign?

I posted "first post" didn't I? That's usually what sets the topic for the thread. And since Tesla roadster is an electric car, why not mention it, instead of posting about aftermarket diesels - or didn't you mention later about "green" performance? Oh...and i'm not the one that cares about a car's origin, that was the point.
I did reference H-Conversions is also converting Neil Young's 59 Lincoln to electric... It's not my fault you failed to make the connection... Besides the Tesla has been mentioned before...

Care to explain the diffrence? I'm ashamed to admit it, but I don't have a clue.
Sure, it's never too late to learn drag racing stuff. The Impala and the Lambo are a good examples illustrate the difference. Ignore crap like tranny, gears and shit.
- The Imapala makes 800 HP and gobs of torque.
- The Lambo makes big HP as well, but less torque.
Think of torque meaning harder acceleration. The harder the acceleration, the less time it takes you get up to a given speed or get to a given point. Both cars can do 200 kmph or a 1/4 mile, but the question is how quickly it can get there. The Impala, with more torque, gets there faster than the Lambo because it accelerates harder.
If the race went farther, then the torque curve of the Impala eventually drops off and speed becomes the critical factor. The Lambo in that case would beat the Impala.
Hopefully that makes it as clear as mud.

Oh it's not my comprehension abilities its your utter lack of communication skills. Accept responsibility for your limitations.
And the last time "you" mentioned a Tesla, you posted, "Nice review of this electric car but I still think I'd prefer a gas powered muscle car..." Yeah, you're all about Green power.

I guess someone got caught again.
I'm covered.
My Impala is green.
I'm all about the caring...

Insn't your Impala is a '65? It's a 454? I think we are gonna see a few more of these GM Duramax hot rods... They're tough and have the potential to make tons of hp plus the torque isn't too shabby either...
More on this killer Impala....

'68 with a .060 over 454.
Diesels have so much potential now.

I thought looking at the video it would be a 9 second car but it's only a 11.5 and the Lambo did it in 12.2 which isn't bad for a car not designed for that. I bet you get a pair of slicks and some lower gearing on the Lambo and it knocks off a second. My brother in-law had a 2000 Camaro SS with a few tweaks that ran in the 10's......with the A/C and music going.
Yep, probably. Street tires suck for racing. Running a lower gear set in the Lambo would appeal to me. It's not like there's an autobahn to wind it out on around here.
The whole idea of some shmoe racing a Lambo on test and tune night appeals to the retard in me!
