CKA ogame.org Alliance
He is the only one in his alliance.
I think to get around the no bashing war you have to officialy declare war on the ogame forums? Or just list the war on our alliance info page?

good post Delwin, I totaly never though about trying to stay under the 5000 point barrier and just spending on research rather than gaining points. But too late for that, heh, i just passed 15,000 points.
I would help with 208:11 but he is newbie green to me, my fleet sucks anyways, its bascially just 10 battleships not much more.
Your right, at this point, you need to become as big as you can, the reason is, even though you have 15,000 points, anyone with over 3000 can still attack you aswell as anyone over 5,000. Once you hit 25,000, you will actually have fewer potential attackers than you have now. At that point anything goes.
My strategy is to not build any defence at all, and focus on research i could be attacked, but I had high espionage so they wouldn't know what they are attacking. I also spent money as quick as I got it so it would be in no way profitable to do that and if it does happen, my research factory and shipyard are at level 6 so I'll be dropping ion cannons and cruisers before they even hit. It also helps that I am in an alliance, as it is further insentive to stay the hell away from me.

I suggest we setup a simultaneous attack on comma (208:11) he has a lot of defense but he has attacked one of our members. I have 7 cruisers and 2 hi fighters for this.
Who's in ?
I'm in, as I mentioned in the ogame galaxytool
Light Fighter 15
Heavy Fighter 25
Cruiser 13
Ok we can send them simultaneously. My cruisers get back in 17 minute.
At noon (EST) we send the attack.
oh damn. He just became a newbie to me
edit: oh no false alarm. He is green in the alliance page but not in the game.
We need to strike fast. He is building up his defense.

Yeah it has to be posted:

THE BASHING RULE YET AGAIN
This has been explained before but a lot of people have trouble. There is even a topic (did you click me before? here i am again!) but with all due respect to bibob I think it's still a little difficult to understand. So here I will try explaining it again in the hopes that it will be helpful... but maybe I'll screw it up even worse
The bashing rule is often explained as, "you are allowed 3 attacks per day." That's a little confusing, rather than "attacks" it might make a little more sense to call them "sets of attacks." You are allowed 3 sets of attacks, of 3 attacks each. And in each set, the 3 attacks must reach the planet within 30 minutes of each other. As long as the attacks hit the planet within 30 minutes of each other, they count as "waves" of the same "attack."
For example, let's say we have 2 people--Player A and Player B. If Player A attacks:
At 6:33
At 6:45
At 10:12
At 10:17
At 10:35
At 13:11
At 13:44
Player A is not violating the rules. The blue, orange, and green groups are all within a half hour of each other, so they count as waves of separate attacks. But if Player B counter-attacks like this:
At 15:22
At 15:45
At 17:11
At 17:38
At 17:52
At 20:31
That would be bashing and Player B could get banned. The red attack is more than a half hour after the first orange attack, and the green attack is more than a half hour after the red attack, so each counts as a separate "attack."
There are two exceptions allowed. One is if your alliance has declared war on another alliance. Note that this must be posted in the forum and acknowledged before you can attack. And no, you can NOT declare war on an individual. The other exception is if the other user sends an offensive message. Notify a GO and if ask them for permission to attack beyond the bashing rule. But you must get a GO's permission BEFORE you attack.

Let me know what I should send, to which planet.
I'm in system 84 remember, so it'll take some time for my fleet to get there.

Simulate how much time it will take to send your fleet to 208:11.
I will send mine to be in the 30 minutes range.

Another interesting stategy I read about was fleet saving. If you are going to be stockpiling money to save up for a particular tech, it is a good idea to have enough transports on hand to hold all of that money. If an attack is launced on you you send your money to a distant planet, and when he gets to your planet, he is basically taking a loss if you have defence. If he sees you did this he may recall his attack in which case you recall yours. Also, you can adjust the speed of your transports so if you are going to be offline for 2 days, and you know it takes 3 hours to get to a distant galaxy, you can set your transports to 10% fill them with your loot and send them away. Then recall them when you get back on line, this would work with your expensive equipment aswell. This way you are not coming back to no fleet and no resources.

According to the simulation if I send everything I've got I'm not going to be able to destroy the dome or any battleships... should I stock up first?
I can pretty easily crush his planet 13
