saturn_656 saturn_656:
I've installed Chrome ad blocker.

No more warnings.

Same. Thanks

Avast still gets me the "blocked access" warning on EI tho.

For those who know, run a trace route on the IP 91.213.174.37 - it's pretty interesting. It appears that from the 15th to 18th hop it's resolving in a proxy - look at the speed. Interesting.

It went through my Norton like a hot knife through butter.

Norton is useless. I spent $100 last year on Norton and it never detected any ofthe bugs/worms/viruses that I found this spring with AVAST (thanks again Scape!).

Ditch it and use something else.

@QBC: First, I would switch to Firefox or Chrome. IE is not secure at all.

Interesting...

Previous in this thread I mentioned I had an attack on my computer while I was logged into cka. I just double checked my security history and the IP is similar to this one that Bart looked up. Happened back on April 19th. I haven't had any problem since.

Attacking computer: 91.213.157.37,80
Risk Name: HTTP FakeAV Webpage Request
There is also a URL address recorded - is this relevant or of interest?

Also... to Bart or anyone who can answer this question... is this link that Bart provided a means to look up any IP address? I'm curious because several months ago an IP address that is not mine accessed my gmail account. As soon as I saw this I changed my password and have had no problem since (I do check regularily)but I'd be curious to find out the source of that address.

Sign in to your gmail
At the bottom center of the page you'll see:
"Last account activity" with the time you last logged in to check your mail. It also displays your IP address.
Click on "Details" beside the IP address.
A window will open to show you the last 10 (?) or so times you logged in with the IP address of the computer you were using to access it.

This is where I found an IP that is not my own.
