Looking for info to buy ......

Looking at the PSP here and was wondering what the big differences are for the original and this new PSP 2000? I have heard it called a 2000 Slim, 2000Slim & Lite etc. All different names for the same model??

Does it mention anywhere on the model that it is this newer model?? Reason I ask is that if I can find a good deal on one then I can get a few accessories for the tour.

Any and all advice/opinions appreciated.
