You don't need certification to use a Phillips screwdriver.
MSoft certification just means you're trained to TRY and keep Windows running....

Not really a joke when 99% of people won't even make that effort. What would be a joke is if they failed you....
Had three with certification over the last 17 years... one was great, worked 2 years and is now a highly paid tech with a huge outfit in a nice place.
One took three weeks to drop off a resume after I suggested he do that, and never followed up. One that didn't even get to the drop off a resume part. And I sent one other off for the certification and he dropped out, it was too hard.
Needless to say those three will enjoy a great life of piling 2x4s in the cold while the first is driving his Audi to a company golf tournament.
