moving targets... excellent !

Newfy @ Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:22 pm

"Target will fall when hit!"

I'm sorry officer, we were shooting at the pigeons when this object just flew into our line of fire.

DrCaleb @ Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:23 pm

The irony being that pigeons were brought here and released to the wild as a food source.

A moving flying object gets shot in a range where they are shooting at flying moving objects, what did they think would happen?

DrCaleb @ Mon Nov 19, 2012 4:20 pm

It's the fourth drone shot down. They knew it would happen.

That club must have a scoreboard up somewhere.

$1:
SHARK claimed “a single sharp rifle crack rang out,” in a press release sent out on Monday.

Don't mean to tell anybody what to do... but I certainly would not mess with somebody that can pigeon hunt with a rifle.

Funny how a group fighting pigeon hunting doesn't even know what kind of guns they use.

Hey...I got one of those flying thingies.

Looks like the shot shorted out the LiPo.

Linky to the concept.......http://creativentechno.wordpress.com/20 ... er-basics/

I wonder if there's a law that that makes it illegal to shoot down a privately owned or government owned drone? And would it make a difference if the drone enters the airspace above your property? Maybe an FAA regulation?

I don't think these toys fall under FAA regulations.

Jonny_C @ Wed Nov 21, 2012 9:45 am

These "drones" are toys, yes, but very intrusive ones in the hands of people with an agenda.

There must be privacy laws that protect one's property from surveillance.

Can you imagine the nightmare over some celebrities' properties if the paparazzi deployed them? You'd need air traffic control!

Thanos @ Wed Nov 21, 2012 10:12 am

Wave of the future, man. Wait until police departments have hundreds of them and use them to chase down and photograph traffic violators. For us neo-fascist strict law'n'order types it'll be heaven.
