Anti-war British MP Galloway kept out of Canada

OPne man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. George Bush has killed a hell of a lot more kids than George galloway has, or Hamas for that matter. It's just plain old censorship, and as usual--whether it's torutring kids, arbitrary detainment or starting wars based on lies, the right-wingers are solidly in line.

It's up to you whether or not to morally support the rights of a non-Canadian terrorist supporter who took money from Saddam Hussein. But it doesn't do you much good IMO. He's not a Canadian citizen so his right to even enter our country is effectively non-existent unless the authorities determine otherwise.

Besides, he and his orcs inside Canada always have the internet to spread their hate anyway, so it's not like their freedom of speech or association is being disrupted very much.

I don't recall saying that I morally supported George Galloway. I support freedom of speech. Not in style these days, I know, wiht the nanny state leftists and the frightened right.

He took money from Saddam Hussein, did he? Did he smile, shake his hand and give him a pair of cowboy boots too? Oh wait--that was Rumsfeld. Presumably Rumsfeld is allowed in the country.

It's no big deal. Youre' right, there's no inherent right to enter a country of which you are not a citizen. Just another little fraying of our appreciation for rights and freedoms. But let's be clear--he's banned because they don't want you to hear what he has to say. That is the reason.
